“Beautiful place in the middle of the jungle. The breakfast and also the rest of the food was the best I had in indonesia. The stuff is so friendly they welcome you like family. We did the tour around tetebatu with them and it was amazing. We learned so much about the nature, the plants and the rice. I can highly recommend this. Really a nice experience to stay there, far away from all the tourism. You really get to know the indonesian living there.”
“The location of Jonny’s place is stunning, nestled amongst the rice fields of Tetebatu and (if you’re lucky enough) a view of the beautiful Rinjani. The sound of nature and Jonny’s family living their day to day life is truely beautiful. The room is comfortable with a fan and mosquito net with a firm but still pleasant bed. We chose to eat here and were glad we did, as it was incredibly tasty & the portion sizes were very generous (some of the best meals we’ve eaten in Indo). The children were very cute also!”
“This was definitely our favourite place during our entire 2 month travel through Indonesia.
The owners of the homestay are great. Really welcoming and made us experience life in the village.
The owner will take you on a walking tour showing the rice fields, a beautiful waterfall, all the local products made in the village and the monkey forest.
We also ate here every night. Angi is a great cook and can also make some great local dishes.”
“the room is spacious, the location, the owners, the food, the environment in the heart of the rice fields and the population of the village, a place still preserved”
“It's a magnificent place, surrounded by rice fields. The accommodation is also perfect, with a swimming pool, a very good restaurant and very unusual hut rooms. The hosting family was so welcoming and lovely. They took me everywhere! I recommend this address for a stay in Tetebatu.”
“The guesthouse is in the middle of a lot of rice fields. All was clean and we had a good time there.
We had a rice field tour with Armin - we really can recommend it!
Thanks so much!”
