Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe frequent loud and long mosque’s calls to prayers, the first one being shortly after 5 am. However this is their life and nothing to do with the property except its close proximity to the mosque. At least for me, after the first 2 mornings, it didn’t seem to be a problem as I was able to somehow sleep through it.
The bungalows were basic but clean and comfortable. The garden and surroundings were beautiful-lush and colorful. It’s very peaceful except for the frequent loud calls to prayer by the mosque right next door. The staff was incredible- friendly and attentive. We had many interesting conversations with them. The food was simple but tasty and inexpensive.

United KingdomThe location is beautiful - the bungalows are situated in a lush tropical garden with rice terraces, the jungle and Mount Rinjani in the background. Amazing sunset views. The bungalow was super clean and comfortable with no mosquitoes inside. We spent every evening on the terrace of our bungalow observing the changing sky and a variety of wildlife. The family running the place makes you feel at home and are incredibly kind and hospitable. They always brought us complimentary ginger tea when we sat outside of our bungalow and the included breakfast was delicious and filling. The family also introduced us to unusual fruit we’ve never tried before. We ate all our lunches and dinners at the family warung which serves delicious food. The tours offered by the family are the best. We did the incredible half day walking tour around Tetebatu with Ron’s nephew during which we learnt lots about rice growing and local spices and fruits and we saw black langurs. The full day tour took us to amazing waterfalls in a jungle and offered authentic encounters in local villages. We also enjoyed a cooking class in the family warung!

Germany- Wifi signal was almost non-existent in the last bungalow where we stayed which could probably be fixed by a repeater. Other reviews spoke of good internet, but we effectively had none at all in our room. - If you have issues with little insects, this may not be a place for you. It is quite close to the jungle and that comes with animals. On the last day we had an ant trail passing our luggage on the floor of the bungalow which required us to clean everything. - The several (!) mosques around the property will wake you around 4am/5am if you are not completely deaf. It feels like the load speakers are behind the bungalow wall. For us it was part of the authentic experience and hearing all the mosques also has a beauty to it. But you probably wanna bring earplugs.
Ron and his family are extremely welcoming and friendly and the location is stunning. The bungalows are very simple, but are clean and have hot water. The breakfast is simple, but nice as well and they will even bring it to your bungalow if you wanna eat there. For the price, this is all super fair. In addition, we can highly recommend the Indonesian food in the family owned restaurant up the street. It's delicious and excellent bang for your buck. Also, we did a village tour with a person from the family. It's not super cheap, but it's incredibly interesting and well spent money. All in all, our stay in Tetebatu was great and we would come there again.

The location is just beautiful! Rooms are good and very clean. In front of the rooms is a nice garden with hammocks, just a beautiful place to chill or to watch the sunset. The environment of Tetebatu is also very beautiful: the half day trekking is definitely worth it! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good as well. Would recommend everyone to spend between 2-3 days here.

Toby, Kars and I loved our stay at the Wina Wani Bungalow. The three brothers (Ron, Astro and Souhaidi) are so lovely and so is the rest of the family. They show you around in the ricefields and they want to help you with everything. Best homestay I’ve ever been to!

CanadaLike most areas the mosque can be really loud. Unfortunately, I stayed on the one night they had a party in the next village. Wished I had more time to stay longer.
The view and landscape is fabulous. The location in Tetebatu is perfect. Seeing the sunset from here and just amazing. The rooms are private and good size. Nice bathroom and shower. They serve you tea and coffee and breakfast to the room. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Ron, the owner, took me on a hike through the rice terrances and waterfalls. Lovely man!

New ZealandGreat value for money! Friendly staff/family there who were extremely helpful and kind. The room is very very good for the price, what I would expect from a higher price point even! Very clean and comfortable. The sunset view from here is absolutely epic. Cute kittens running around. You feel like you’ve just stepped into paradise.

GermanyThe Wina Wani feels like home directly from Arrival! It’s perfect located to visit the tetebatu rice terraces, some waterfalls and an a monkey Forrest. The bungalows are surrounded by a nice garden and connected to little jungle with a lot of bananas! From the garden you can see the rinjani and a beautiful sunset! But the most special part of the winawani is the owner family! They are all nice people, very friendly and helpful! They offer a nice breakfast especially the banana/pineapple pancake are delicious. For lunch and dinner you can go to the monkey Forrest Warung (also operated by this family). Also very good food.

Stuffs are very friendly, when chilling at balcony, they would ask you if you want tea or coffee. Place is well maintained, clean with hot water. You do need scooter to explore freely though, otherwise join tour organized by owner, not much nearby can do by walking.

GermanyIf we had to mention one thing, it would be that the breakfast is limited in quantity and it was not enough for us. It was delicious though.
We highly recommend staying here. We had an excellent stay - probably the best we had in Indonesia. Everyone who works there will do their best to make your stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. Special shout out to Sik and Alex. Alex was also the best guide for our Tetebatu tour. It was like spending a day with a friend. But don't trust him when he offers you a Lombok chili 😂. Also the garden surrounding the bungalows is beautiful.
