When our children left home for University we decided to use the extra space for bed and breakfast! We are vegetarians and grow our own fruit and veg. Rescued battery chickens live at the back of our garden, providing fresh eggs every day. I work from home running a coaching and consultancy business and Michael takes the lead with the B&B. We enjoy cinema (Oswestry has a great community cinema), the gym and walking. We also look after guide dogs when they are in their final weeks of training, so we may have a dog when you stay, but they'll be kept away from shared areas. We aim to provide you with a clean, comfortable and welcoming home from home environment.

An ideal base for accessing North Wales as well as exploring the Shropshire Hills and Offa's Dyke Path (If you're walking ODP we offer a free collection and drop off service, and can even sort you out a packed lunch - get in touch for more information) and a little further afield there's Snowdonia. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it and a lot more besides in Shropshire. We are 20 minutes drive from Llangollen, home of the International Eisteddfod; 30 minutes to Shrewsbury or Chester. We're also close to the renowned RJAH Orthopedic Hospital, so an ideal base if you're working or visiting there.
