Very comfortable quite room, we had 14 for dinner which was a late booking and the food and staff was excellent. Breakfast offered great choice, only disappointment the kitchen manager closed breakfast service without consultation while we were still ion the restaurant.

I worked at the hotel many years ago. At that time it was very rural, surrounded by fields. But now the area all around the hotel has been highly developed. So from my opinion it has lost a lot of the country feel for me. That being said, if you hadn't known how it was before all of the over development surrounding it you would still proberbly appreciate the properties gardens and old charm.
The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. However certain aspects of the room were looking a little tired. The walk in shower whilst looking impressive is extremely slippy when wet, with no grab rails I felt very unsafe. For the higher price point I also felt that the beverage tray was disappointing, and could have had more luxurious offering.
The breakfast was very tasty. But I was not checked and I would have liked some more coffee.
The staff were very pleasant and professional.
A continental breakfast including two hot food items, free onsite parking and free WiFi are included in the rate at International Hotel Telford.

We didn't see much of Telford as we were attending a UW conference. What we did notice driving around Telford to get where we were going was how clean it was. We will definitely be coming back to visit Telford itself later in the year.

Would thoroughy recommend the liquor room for cocktails and miller and carter for evening meal. Don’t stay at Mercure Telford City hotel though ….. have done so twice now with bad experience both times.

We came to attend an angling championship. The weather was exceptionally wet. Roads were closed and Ironbridge was flooded. We attended the competition and went home as soon as we could. We did revisit the Grazing Cow restaurant for our second evening meal. The food was good and a good atmosphere.

Birthplace of the industrial revolution, there are plenty of historical ruins and artifacts to see. Ironbridge is amazing considering when it was built. Multi museum pass is best value if you are staying for a couple of days. There are plenty of small villages to explore but be prepared for the narrow farm tracks if venturing off the main A roads.
Taxi’s are available in and around Telford but if you are travelling to a rural location such as Neenton (the Pheasant) you will need to contact a taxi firm such as 1st Choice Taxi’s in advance to make a firm booking. Uber services don’t Appear to be available once you are a few miles from Telford itself and mobile data is not always available.

Brilliant location with so many great attractions!
Brilliant location with so many great attractions! Town park is fantastic and all free! We also visited the exotic zoo which was lovely too! So much to do in the area, we will return again and stay longer next time to fit more in!
Breakfast was good.
Bed was comfortable.
Room was as expected in terms of size.
Toiletries were lovely and shower was clean with plenty of hot water.
Tea and coffee in room were nice too.
The town centre and park were a pleasant walk away so the location is perfect. We enjoyed exploring Telford for the first time. Ironbridge is a short drive away and is worth a visit.
The bed was very comfy the room was spacious and very clean. The bath was a little small for my 6 foot plus husband but a lovely indulgent for me. The shower was hot and fast flowing so another plus.
I just wish we could of stayed longer. The breakfast was very nice too. All in all a fantastic comfy value for money stay in a very nice hotel.
This is a grand old period house hotel (actually, three houses joined together) with a modern wing also. Plenty of parking, slightly faded grandeur and the world's creakiest floors in places, but perfectly acceptable in a property of this age. The staff are super professionals with great attitudes.
Perfect location, just five minutes from Wellington Station, there's a bus stop on the main road to take the no, 4 bus that takes you into Telford and Ironbridge.
Quiet location within a ten minute walk to the town centre, the property has car parking facilities with your own space provided.
Really friendly welcome, large and very clean room. Location is great for Telford, Ironbridge and RAF Cosford air museum. The staff work very hard and are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, large and with nice quality ingredients. Great value for money. Plenty of free parking.
We visited the hotel as we were attending a wedding in Ironbridge. The access to the venue was great only £5 for a taxi. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back.
Ideal location for Telford attractions and Ironbridge. Easy to find with free on site parking. Nice layout. Swimming Pool was clean and warm and a great facility. Beds were comfy. Despite being near a main roundabout the windows blocked virtually all of the noise.
Stayed here for 1 night stop over meet friend for shopping in Telford Central. Location was handy and value for money. Room was clean as was the communal areas. Restaurant on 3rd floor for snacks and drinks. Free parking. Staff friendly and helpful.
For location and significance of the hotel dating from the 17th century - madeley hall is an excellent choice for visiting local ironbridge and surrounding Shropshire villages. Highly recommend the hotel - all staff very helpful and customer service was excellent
Good location for visiting the area. Good parking availability in the car park opposite. Nearby shops.
Relatively quiet area. Fully equipped for a weekend break and longer! Short 10 min drive away from Telford's main town center.
The member of staff who welcomed me and booked me in was very friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal, with ample parking, a Starbucks and Burger King adjacent to the hotel.
