Is clean and best, I never see bath tub in Japan....this is the 1st one. My kids like it so much.. The reception personnel, guy (sorry I didn't get your name) is really very very helpful. Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. The room was amazing. Very close with the bus stop and Family Mart. The electric was completely. I recommend this place for everyone visiting.

THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto Imperial Palace West sijaitsee Kiotossa 1,8 km:n päässä Nijōn linnalta. Majoituspaikan huoneissa on ilmastointi ja ilmainen WiFi. Wonderful stay!! The room was huge and the personal onsen was very relaxing after walking all day. It is about 10 minutes away from the subway and there are many temples and shrines near by. Staff was amazing and always available for help.

Situated in Kyoto and with Kyoto International Manga Museum reachable within 1.4 km, Hotel Traveling Bridge Nijojo features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi... Room was super spacious and clean. Great bathtub and water pressure! Sometimes it takes ages for warm water to come out but here it was almost instantaneous which was awesome. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice :)

Located in Kyoto, 1.1 km from Nijo Castle and 1.7 km from the centre, Rinn Shiki Juraku provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Ideally located in the centre of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Nicely renovated japanese house in the old part of town, about 10 minutes from the imperial palace. Toni and his wife are lovely hosts, it felt like we were guests in their home. The shared facilities are clean and good. We stayed in a smart room were everything was connected, very convenient! Warmly recommend.

Hostel Sui Kyoto sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla Kioton keskustassa. Hostellissa on ilmastoituja huoneita, yhteinen lounge, ilmainen WiFi ja puutarha. Majoituspaikassa on perhehuoneita ja terassi. We loved our stay here at Hostel Sui. They have bikes that you can rent for not expensive during your stay. The owner is so accommodating and helped us so much with everything. He lent us 2 rain macs when it was raining and gave us good recommendations of restaurants and an onsen. He even lent us a sewing kit when one of our bags broke and needed to be repaired. The accommodation itself is fantastic. We travelled as a couple and we had our own private space with a curtain. The doors to the beds have an option to lock then during the day too when you're out and about. All the other guests were super quiet and super respectful when we were there. The place is also super clean, like spotless the whole time. Nice showers and there's an option of a shower after 11pm beside the kitchen on the terrace as to not disturb other guests. Set in Kyoto, 1.4 km from Nijo Castle and 2.3 km from the centre, Ryokan Tanoya offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. I loved the traditional Japanese home with tatami mats and futon beds. Waking up to a beautiful Japanese garden was very refreshing too. The host was very welcoming. My husband and I also enjoyed the breakfast she cooked for us everyday and she agreed to do our laundry for us too only the next day we arrived which was very nice of her. The A/C worked perfectly and was great for hot summer days. We are truly impressed with Japanese hospitality and we would love to stay there again in our next visit to Kyoto.
