Absolutely amazing apartment! It is really clean and cosy! The owner Dimitra and her husband remodeled it themselves and put a lot of love into it. She was sooo friendly and kind and I had a really warm welcome. She and her colleague Alexia were always easy to reach through WhatsApp and helped me with everything from ordering a taxi to recommending great places to eat. The apartment has everything you need with a well equipped kitchen, washing maschine, hairdryer and lots more. Dimitra left me some snacks and drinks which was really nice (and the fruits were from her garden and delicious). I would absolutely recommend this place, if you are looking for something cosy and more quite, a little away from the noisy neighborhood of the Main Street (which is easy to reach -just a short walk down the hill). I stayed there alone and felt very safe walking the streets alone at night as a women. There are several restaurants nearby (one across the street) if you don’t want to walk down again after a great day at the beach. I hope to come back again one day!!!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks stay in Vama Apartment and we highly recommend the place! We will gladly come back one day. Dimitra give us a warm welcome and she went above and beyond our expectation to make our stay perfect. We had all the comforts we needed, apartment is specious, very clean with fully equipped kitchen and there was home made wine in fridge, no mention about a big super comfy bed as well! Apartment is situated in quiet old town on uphill with friendly neighbors, we have checked location on google map in satellite view before, so we knew exactly what we should expect. We have everything around in walking distance, shops, restaurants, supermarket, pubs etc. We enjoyed our uphill walk and admired the amazing view just a few steps from apartment. Thank you so much, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday!

Vama apartment was a great choice for us! we we were staying here at the begging of our honeymoon and everything was great!!! The owner welcomed us with beautiful decorations of the apartment as she knew we were newly married! She prepared some refreshments for us including a very tasty house wine! Anytime we had any question, she was always ready to answer very quickly and was very helpful!

When we arrived, we got the nicest welcome ever! The apartment itself was new, sparkling clean, very nicely furnished and decorated and it had everything we needed. I never had such a fully equipped kitchen in any of my stays. Dimitra was very attentive and also left for us fruits, bread, water, and many other things! The bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillows for a good night's sleep. The location is very good, close to shops and tavernas. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Crete. Thank you for everything!!!

- Bathroom was a wet room with no shower curtain, so everything got wet - lot of light in the property at night, made for challenging sleeping at times

Location very pleasant, not busy and many restaurants nearby. There is parking available. Very clean and nicely done property, good facilities. Host Dimitra is really lovely, she brought fresh produce and eggs from her garden, and flowers for Easter. She was welcoming and happy to help us with any issues.

Very beutiful decorated house in a quiet street, equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed. Spotlessly cleaned everywhere. Fantastic hosts with a big heart, that made you feel very welcome and was available on the phone if needed. I highly recommend this house, I most definitely want to come back one day. 10/10 🤩

Very clean place, very open and comfortable for hot days in Crete. The host (Dmitra) is incredibly sweet and caring for her guests, she cooked for us and treated us like family when we arrived. The place has everything you need for a week or more in Crete. To be honest, I would 100% recommend staying with them. Dmitra brought us Greek food and stocked up our fridge with organic veggies from her garden.It is the best place to stay. The price is really good compared to other places in Crete and you are 10 min away (walking) from the center of Platanias where you can take a bus to Chania. Also, is even closer if you rent a car. This apartment is perfect, we would recommend it without any doubt. We felt very welcome by Dimitra, she provided us some local food and made sure that everything was fine all the time. The apartment was perfectly clean, in a very good condition and also owns a very good taste of interior design. The neighborhood is very friendly and there are very good restaurants with an awesome view nearby. We would not hesitate to come back, we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Dimitra.

Everything in this apartement is new and chosen with love and gratitude to nature - it‘s pure and warm, you feel like home the moment you arrive. The owners are really nice and helpful, always there for recommendations about and in platanias. They even do nice things for their guests without even being asked. Just out of kindness. They ask if everything is ok several times and are there for help if you need something. We can recommend this apartement for young people who like to be around locals and don‘t want it to be too loud at night, because it‘s really nice and calm but you have to walk for about 5-10 minutes to reach the old town, down- and then uphill. You don‘t have to be superfit, but maybe not so good if you are injured or sore on the feet. Nevertheless - it‘s a 2 minutes drive with the car and you always find a place to park. All in all we loved it here and can definitely recommend this apartement from the bottom of our heart.
