A very charming place for those looking to enjoy the quiet surroundings of the marvelous Lassithi plateau... so different from the busy tourist spots at the Northern coast. Christine and Vassilis offer a perfect blend of Greek and French hospitality. We (unfortunately) stayed for one night only and were very happy to find a perfectly equipped studio. Everything was already there for breakfast (which needs to be prepared by the guests themselves) and Vassilis brought fresh bread in the morning. We also were lucky to have dinner in their Kronio restaurant in nearby Tzermiado (which we would highly recommend as well). All in all, a more than pleasant stay in a beautiful location... and many reasons to come back again. We were there in mid October, before they start to operate heating system November 1st. Nights were on the chilly side be prepared.

Here you can meet the real Crete, The real people, The genuine Crete hospitality. Here you are close to nature, can spot some vultures in the sky, take a long walk in the mountains. The apartment was large and comfortable, Well equipped, Fresh bread and breakfast every morning, A vegetable garden where you can pick your salad greens. All together was an amazing and unique experience

Everything was fabulous.

Everything. Well equipped new large rooms. Magnificent peaceful rural setting with glorious mountain views and closer views of small scale farming. Charming and real. Incredibly generous and helpful owners and hosts. As well as running the accommodation, they run the nearby Kronio taverna and manage their diverse farmlet which supplies so much bounty that they shared at the restaurant and at the accommodation. This is an exceptional place .

This is a wonderful place to stay- Christine and Vassillis are very welcoming and generous hosts - their restaurant is in the village less than a kilometer from the property and the food was exceptional local cuisine- the scenery to behold whilst eating breakfast at your room is something I will remember for a long time. We really liked Maison Kronio and it's location on the Lassithi Plateau. The hosts are very friendly and make an extra effort to see, that you have everything that you need and all is fine. The hosts also run a taverna in the nearby village and we really liked the dinners, that we had there.

This is a unique and fantastic place to stay. Comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price. The grounds and the pool are wonderful. The hospitality of the owners is amazing, it’s important to them that you have a good time and that all your needs are met. We will always go back.

Everything about our stay was fabulous. Communication about accessing was simple and the hosts extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were spotless and well equipped and the hosts left us a lovely breakfast and brought fresh bread to us in the morning. The views are amazing and i enjoyed a very refreshing swim in the pool.

Lovely, large, clean apartment with comfortable furniture and fast and reliable WiFi. The location is ideal and the hosts are extremely pleasant. They provided ample supplies for a good breakfast and arranged transportation to the start of my hike to Karfi.

Everything was amazing, a truly special place!

Absolutely outstanding. Hosts are very kind and authentic. It was great to taste the products of this remarkably fertile land, gently offered to us during our stay. The room/apartment was spotlessly clean, confortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Outdoor space and pool also very nice.

The location is bit off, getting e.g. to the host's restaurant (I can recommend the mezes) is either 10 minutes walk or no ouzo. So, nothing to complain about.

Great host, great and modern accomodation. But the best was the breakfast. At first, I was a bit disappointed that we should prepare breakfast ourselves, but... we were provided with lots of fresh vegetables, cheese, bread, eggs, salad, ... Vassilis mad us to take everything with us and I think we had two more days greek salad from the tomatoes. Thanks Vassilis! It was a pleasure. Very quiet, nice pool.

The generosity and friendliness of the hosts was exceptional. We were given fresh local fruit and vegetables each day. Fantastic views over the mountains from the room. For the walks in the mountains we were given good advice and also taken in the car to the start of a long walk. In the village, the owners also have a restaurant which serves very good local food. Overall, it was very enjoyable experience to stay here, even though it did rain (as it sometimes does in the mountains) on a couple of occasions.

What an amazing place surrounded by mountains, the apartment was beautiful in a stunning location, and the hosts Christine and Vasilli and their son were the nicest kindest people you could hope to meet, it was a privilege to stay at there place and be cared for so well. On arrival the kitchen was stocked with local produce and fruits and salad from their garden, every morning fresh breads and anything you could possibly want, nothing was too much for them. The restaurant they run in the village was the best food we are in Crete, I can't say enough how wonderful our stay was, we will never forget this place and these wonderful people. When we left we were given gifts and Visilli even cleaned our car. You must stay here if you get the chance.
