Everything about it! The location was unmatched, and the room itself was beautiful and yes, very cosy! The hospitality from the host was what made it extra special though, the personal touches were so nice.

Nice, clean and well kept boutique hotel in old chania. Corner Room on the second floor overlooking the small square. Friendly and attentive service with daily fruit basket, uncomplicated communication and ceck in. Some nice restaurants like To Maridaki or Kouzina EPE in the neighbourhood

I cannot recommend this property highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was treated like family. I was given biscuits and drink upon check-in and throughout the five days that I stayed, Mrs. Maria (who I referred to as ‘’my Yaya” for the remainder of the trip), showered me with homemade pastries and sweets. At every turn, she would make sure that I had everything I needed for a perfect stay - to the fruit bowl being topped up every morning in my room, to the clean, comfortable bed and amenities I came home to each day. Although I was unable to speak Greek, and Mrs. Maria spoke limited English, we were able to communicate through our gestures for one another and laughter. This is the perfect stay to cure your homesickness. I will be back and will recommend Harismari to anyone going to Chania!

Nothing to dislike

The Hotel was perfectly located for all the attractions we wished to visit. Marie the Owner & Staff went above & beyond to make our stay memorable, treats, cake, fruit, wine & even a small gift for us to remember our stay on leaving. Plenty of local restaurants nearby for breakfast although HarisMari do promote a breakfast at Thr harbour. Rooms very contemporary in style & decor & modern bathrooms whole Hotel very traditional in decor from the entrance but rooms very modern. Reason for a score of 9 for the room quietness was given due to renovation works ongoing in an apt block adjoining but nothing Marie & Staff could do to lessen

We had beautiful stay at this hotel. It is perfectly located, very clean and comfortable and the staff, especially Maria, is the most welcoming staff we encountered on our 2 weeks trip in Crete. Book this hotel. You won't regret it.

Nothing really. There was just just a very minute issue with draining in the walk in shower.

Really nice design, one of comfiest beds we had in our whole vacation. Awesome, welcoming hosts. Treats/cakes/fresh fruit/candy/little presents everyday with a little personal note!!! Maria is a wonderful, wonderful host!!! Thank you!!! The little hotel is in a very nice part of the of town, nice restaurants nearby.

Very unique and stylish hotel. Sparkling clean. Central location. Beautifully designed compact rooms. Attention to detail was impeccable. Beautiful welcome by wonderful Maria and Valia. Kindness and warm Cretan hospitality poured out onto us from these 2 lovely women to make our stay even more special. Maria is one of most unique, warm and generous hosts I have ever met on my travels. Her love and warmth overflowed onto us and we became so fond of her! We loved her delicious baking treats left in our room everyday and we were still eating them on the plane on way home to Scotland.....delicious! God bless this special family and their beautiful hotel.

Comfortable, clean, and very welcoming. While parking was not available at the location, the owners made every effort to inform us where parking (paid and unpaid) was available. The complimentary water and treats in the room were very appreciated. Recommendations for dinner were excellent. A great stay!

Nothing to not like

As a frequent and demanding traveler, I hardly ever give a 10 to any hotel. Harismari beat all my expectations for a small city hotel. Cleanliness, super comfortable beds (cocomat), slippers, Nespresso capsules and fruits everyday, quietness, super location and Mrs Maria was the best hostess ever! Definitely a place to return to!!!

A little noise coming from the bars and restaurants outside (not too much though).
