I went to the thermal spa, so enjoyed town within fortress of Moncao. Cycled on ecopista both sides of river. SOLAR de SErrada is out of town but taxis available. breakfast very generous. I loved the jug of coffee so that I could pour my own preference.

We could hear almost everything, what happened in the room nearby or in the corridor.

The mattress was extremely tough. I would suggest if not change the mattresses to buy some soft toppers to make it more comfortable

The vibe, the history, the natural beauty, the vineyard, everything was perfect! I highly recommend you to buy their albariño wine - it was excellent! The stuff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious! Love it!

great breakfast, natural orange juice, lots of different cheese and bread, they cook something of you need, the staff was really nice with us during the breakfast, there was a cot in our bedroom like we asked and a kids towel for my baby which I found really cute to have.

It was all lovely. If guests are in the room next to you, you can hear them.

The breakfast was fantastic. The Solar is beautiful, in the middle of a truly beautiful working vineyard. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They anticipated our needs in thoughtful ways. They gave us a delightful tour of the winery when we asked. It was a convenient base for us to visit Moncao, Valenca and Tui.

Some of the exterior facilities need a bit of a facelift, but one understands the current challenges from the pandemic on incremental capital investments.

Excellent breakfast, attentive staff, including little Victor who could stop asking us what more we wanted. Solar has incredible history and charm, beautiful interior spaces, super clean. The family that owns and runs the Solar is very friendly and accommodating.

Original quinta still producing own wine which you can purchase there. Super original building, my kind of thing. Lots of stone and wood. Really attentive staff, most exceptional breakfast with fresh strawberries and made to order scrambled eggs and bacon. Beautiful garden to drink a coffee in. Filled our water bottles from the spring water. Best stay so far.

The place is amazing, an old, beautifully restored manor house with a vineyard. The breakfast was very good, with fresh and local ingredients. The staff was friendly and the wine was delicious.

We loved everything about our stay.

The property is a working vineyard and winery. The manor house was restored beautifully, with fine furnishings and decor. Our suite and bath were immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful. Sofia, our host, was charming. She gave us a tour of the vineyards and winery and we enjoyed tastings of the wine. Of course, we bought some to take with us.
