“The view is just unbelievable, it is magnificent and breathtaking. Villa is smartly built with no neighbouring windows around so that you can enjoy full privacy everywhere. It was immaculately clean with absolutely everything you'd need at home, pool is spacious and with the smart self-cleaning system, host Olga was very nice, attentive and immediately available. Village Plaka is within 8-10 mins walk, it has two good-size supermarkets and plenty of lovely family-run local restaurants/tavernas. It was a perfect holiday in the perfect place.”
“Soula was a wonderful host: she met us at the villa, showed us where everything was and also provided advice on things to do. She was on hand for questions and responded very quickly throughout our stay.
The property is one of the nicest we’ve stayed at, with everything you need and lovely views out to the bay and sunsets. The swimming pool is a good size and there is a lot of very comfortable poolside furniture to sprawl on. The billiards table and table football in the downstairs gym were an added bonus and used every day.
Plaka is small but has a welcoming atmosphere and good restaurants a ten minute walk from the villa. We also walked down to Almyrida beach (about 25 mins or a five minute drive) which has also lovely restaurants right by the sea. Chania is about 30 mins drive if you have a car.
The villa is also well positioned for visits to Aptera archaeological site.

“The location was perfect a two minute walk to the village square with an abundance of restaurants and supermarkets.
The walk to Almyrida was about 12 minutes down a hill. Some may find the walk a challenge.
The apartment was a great size with an ample kitchen and place to sit. A large balcony gave us a wonderful view of the sea.”

Plaka is only a short drive away from the beach, and you can easily discover the west of the island from there. Joan is a wonderful host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast is excellent, complete with her homemade bread, jam and local delicacies. We can't wait to return.”
