“A really nice boutique hotel in the heart of Sfakia, two minutes away from the seafront. Splendid view from the room’s terrace on the harbour and the coast. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, last not least the whole staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We haven’t seen a nicer hotel in town during our stay.”

“Beautiful location in the heart of Chora Skafion. The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout and the waterfront dining options were great. All the staff were super helpful and we especially loved the reception dog, Simba. The bed was incredibly cozy. We were upgraded to a better room on arrival, and there were flowers on the bed and a towel arrangement in honor of our honeymoon, nice touch!”
“The hotel is Historic building, renovated beautifully with a sweet inner courtyard. the rooms are very comfortable with beautiful local hand made wall painting. Yanis the owner is the most welcoming host, he really gave us a worm homey feeling. it was hard to leave and we stayed their an extra night. Thanks Yanis for the great visit”

Despite the “town” being highly touristic (the hotel is an integrated part of a restaurant street - and that is basically the town), we still had a great time and praised ourselves lucky that we came at a time with less tourists. There seems to be a common agreement that music is not allowed - we highly appreciated that!! That means you can actually hear the sea and your thoughts (not a luxury you had in some of the other Cretan tourist towns we visited). I had really nice and very flexible treatment by the booking staff of the hotel: accommodating and service oriented.”

The room, bathroom and the inner courtyard of the hotel complex were fantastically beautiful. Coffee pods, lemonade and water were free. We enjoyed the hikes on the first day from Chora Sfakia to Loutro and the following day from Loutro to Marmara Beach (What a beautiful restaurant there!) as well as the necessary boat passages.”
