Location, location, location. The pictures don’t do it justice! Fabulous views, in centre of town but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Boat tours are within easy walking distance. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

No fault of the hotel, but the town itself was a bit sleepy the beginning of May. While there was some parking available, it was a little far away and down a very narrow and steep alleyway.

Beautiful location in the heart of Chora Skafion. The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout and the waterfront dining options were great. All the staff were super helpful and we especially loved the reception dog, Simba. The bed was incredibly cozy. We were upgraded to a better room on arrival, and there were flowers on the bed and a towel arrangement in honor of our honeymoon, nice touch!

The hotel staff (owner on site) were not very welcoming to say the least! We had no information about services, activities, breakfast - nothing. We were asked in a weird way to pay upfront (“we are probably busy when you leave”??) - nobody cared whether we were there or not - we were just paying customers. Very contrary to other - even larger - hotels in Crete, which are usually service oriented, care about their guests experience etc. That was not the case here

The view!!! Despite the “town” being highly touristic (the hotel is an integrated part of a restaurant street - and that is basically the town), we still had a great time and praised ourselves lucky that we came at a time with less tourists. There seems to be a common agreement that music is not allowed - we highly appreciated that!! That means you can actually hear the sea and your thoughts (not a luxury you had in some of the other Cretan tourist towns we visited). I had really nice and very flexible treatment by the booking staff of the hotel: accommodating and service oriented.

The location was great. The host was very helpful and kindly upgraded us to a suite (we think we were the only guests while we were there!). The view from our room was amazing.

As our rooms were fairly small, we really appreciated the sofas and comfortable lounging chairs outside in the restaurant area. They had two of these double sofa/ two chair arrangements for seating up to at least 8 people per gathering spot. We were a family of 6 and we could all sit and relax together outside of our two rooms. I didn't see any other hotel offer this feature! We stayed 5 nights and met there for our breakfast coffees and pre-dinner drinks. We could sip our drinks and order a few starters and our kids could be comfortable and not stuck in dining chairs. A very luxurious and generous touch! Also, the kids could play in the sandy beach right below us - moms having coffee but close to dads and kids right below.... "We see you!" - but no sand in our lattes.

It would have been nice to have moe of a welcome from the staff on arrival, such as explaining about breakfasts, WiFi code, etc.

Spacious room with a nice big comfortable bed, in a stunning location with a balcony overlooking the harbour. This is an ideal place to finish the day after hiking the Samaria Gorge then taking the ferry along the coast from Agia Roumeli.

Falling asleep while listening to the sound of the sea, is just unique. Great location, great vantage point for sea trips to the nearest beaches, friendly staff and quite a few options to dine around.

Didn't have breakfast because we were not hungry. The accommodation was excellent, far exceeded our expectations. Very warm welcome from the hosts. Slight issue with a window, sorted immediately. The views from the apartment were beautiful and it was a pleasure watching the boating activity.
