The location is good. The communication with host was very easy. All the necessary information was provided in time. A small welcome token (wine, cheese, jam) was unexpected but really nice. The apartment is simply amazing. It is recently refurbished. Everything is pretty new and comfy. The duplex arrangement with two bedrooms on upper floor is very nice for a family.

The house is well equipped, perfectly located close to the beach, and nicely decorated. The common areas (kitchen and living room) were the ones were we spent most of the time. The house has also an external patio where you can have dinner if the weather permits. You also have a small terrace overlooking the beach. The property is located in a very small village with one restaurant and one bar. If you need groceries, you have to go a bit further away by car. The kitchen is extremely equipped. It allowed us to cook and bake at home when needed. The house was in perfect conditions when we arrived. Despite not having met the hosts, we were in contact with them for several things. They always replied promptly. We highly recommend it.

For a wonderful time in Sao Miguel, this is the place to be. It's in a peaceful spot with stunning ocean views, perfect for starting your day right. The breakfast has lots of tasty options, including local favorites. The staff are really kind and helpful. They let us check in early at 10:00 am and check out late. The spa isn't huge, but it's a great way to unwind after exploring the island. Overall, it's one of the best hotels I've stayed at, fitting in perfectly with Sao Miguel's natural beauty.

We appreciated the fact that we were allowed to check in early and that we were provided with a breakfast basket when we left, as we couldn't remain and eat there. Also, one of the days of our stay was my girlfriend's birthday and, as a surprise, they made a cake for us.

All the employees were super kind and helpful. Also they have a computer available next to the entrance, it was very useful for me to plan my next few days. The location is perfect, the north-western, middle and eastern side of the island is accessible as well. Around the town there are a few nice locations such as the tea plantation, natural thermal pools and liquor factory.
