Ask yourself where can you find a palace in the centre of Broadstairs with free parking.....well here it is. A big, well appointed room with a modern bath/shower room attached. A superb facility less than 5 mins walk from the sea.
The room was very clean, air conditioned with a mirror the size of a door which comes in handy when your dressing up for a wedding. Beautiful reproduction period furniture.
In the morning a breakfast box was delivered to our door which included fruit juice, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, pastries coffee & tea.
Only stayed for one night. But we will return.

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches. A small seaside town with only a small shopping area with small independent stores. Some nice restaurants. As with many seaside towns there are some closed down shops and more maintenance needed in places, a little jaded in parts. However the main town Beach, Viking Bay is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining. The menu is very limited at weekends and if there is a function at the time of visit, you can forget about any available facilities in the hotel. Lovely coastal walk , went in winter I guess- march , but still a lovely walk and we were lucky with the bright days .lunch was lovely as was breakfast. we had a stake evening meal meal that was expensive and was a small portion for the price the cooked for was OK but not what i was expecting from what is presumed to be a high class hotel that fell well short of expectations. i would NOT stay there again mainly because there is NO parking at the hotel and it made exploring the area not some to do as you would not know where you could park the car when returning.markThailand
