We had a lovely room with a comfortable yellow chair coffee and tea and a mini bar with everything you can think of. There was nothing we could have wanted for. They thought of everything even an umbrella if it rained. We was very happy with the facilities and the hosts were exceptional very friendly and welcoming.

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches. A small seaside town with only a small shopping area with small independent stores. Some nice restaurants.
As with many seaside towns there are some closed down shops and more maintenance needed in places, a little jaded in parts. However the main town Beach, Viking Bay is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Residents were friendly and it felt safe.

Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining.
Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining. The menu is very limited at weekends and if there is a function at the time of visit, you can forget about any available facilities in the hotel.
We booked tea for one evening and this was extremely disappointing for the amount of money charged.

Been scores of times over my life - this was the first long weekend to see relatives who now live in Broadstairs - it's a beautiful English seaside town with tons of history and the best beaches, I think, in the south of England - wonderful for summer swimming (especially stone bay). has a great community feel, good restaurants and pubs and is wonderful for kids and oldies alike.

we had a stake evening meal meal that was expensive and was a small portion for the price the cooked for was OK but not what i was expecting from what is presumed to be a high class hotel that fell well short of expectations. i would NOT stay there again mainly because there is NO parking at the hotel and it made exploring the area not some to do as you would not know where you could park the car when returning.
As soon as I arrived with my dog Chester,we were made so welcome.I stayed in a superior double with the most amazing view out to sea.Room very well decorated and all fixtures and fittings worked. If I have to be critical I would rather have had a healthier food choice.,very pubby! But what I did have was lovely, and breakfast did me for the day!I the staff could not do enough to help, and all in all this has been one of my favourite hotels on the Kent coast I will definately be booking again.
No breakfast as expected. Excellent facilities in property. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Extremely beneficial location: minutes walk to beach, quay and town. Excellent security behind key pad entry. Dog friendly in small courtyard. Free parking along Eastern Esplanade again just a few minutes walk away. Owners giving excellent details of facilities and available for telephone advice when needed. Will visit again!
I liked everything about the property.
The staff were professional, friendly , helpful, the location was great and nice.
The room was very clean and had all the facilities I needed.
It is an exceptional nice Hotel.
The best hotel in Broadstairs.
Breakfast was cooked by a ‘Professional Cook’ was very delicious to an exceptional standard.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent, we had the tasting menu which was fabulous, and the location is great a 10-15 minute walk to the middle of Broadstairs. The chef at this hotel is excellent, dietary needs were catered for seamlessly and the taster menu was excellent.
Really comfy, clean and quiet. Cosy and relaxing. Right near to the beach and coastal paths. Close to Botany Bay Hotel - which does a great breakfast/has a bar. Is an easy walk away from a supermarket and fish & chip shop. Angie (host) is really easy to communicate with. Well equipped kitchen. Great place to stay.
great room.Breakfast delivered to door due to covd, select from menu the day before, presented beautifully in a wooden box warm croissants, fresh juice, yogurts etc. Coffee available all day and nibbles in the lounge area. Location a few minutes from the beach with parking. Would definitely recommend.
Needed somewhere to stay for one night. The Crown Bar & Guesthouse came up on an Google search. Great location just a little off the sea front in Broadstairs. The room that I had used shared bathroom but that wasn't an issue with me. Other rooms have private facilities. A friendly welcome on arrival.
Beautiful Georgian house that has been refurbed to a very high standard. Host was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and the location is excellent being a five minute walk to all of Broadstairs amenities and seafront.
The view from the room was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the location of the hotel was very good if you want peace and quiet.
Breakfast was delicious and the standard of the restaurant food was very good.
The location is just right for me as I have fiends that I visit in both Ramsgate & Broadstairs & I can park near to the hotel. Staff are friendly & always deal with queries promptly & efficiently.
The hotel is in a great location, seconds from the sea and shops of Broadstairs.
The staff were really welcoming and friendly, although there weren't enough of them to provide a good service.
Good value accommodation with good air con and other facilities. Breakfast was optional, but well priced. Plenty of parking in a location that was good for touring the north Kent coast.
The place was lovely and clean and accurately shown in the photos. It was clean and tidy and felt private. Good location for walking and parking was fine (although better to reverse in)
Stunning property, facilities above and beyond expectations. Cannot fault this property and would be extremely happy to be able to stay there each time in Broadstairs
