Monika, the host, was extremely helpful during both preparation for the trip and our stay in Vis. The apartment is just a couple of hundred meters from the ferry port--once you get off the ferry, it's a 5-minute walk. A big plus--you don't need to climb any hills to get there. Monika met us at the door with the warmest smile and even though we only stayed one night, she was helpful with every little bit of anything that we asked for (and often before we even asked). The apartment is in an excellent condition. It has all you need to feel at home. In the morning, we could leave our luggage for several hours before we took the bus to Komizha. The apartment's location allows you to get pretty much anywhere in Vis on foot.

Located in the heart of Komiža, right next to the promenade and a 2-minute walk from the nearest beach, Mira Sea Front Guesthouse offers rooms and studios with free Wi-Fi. Probably one of the best location you can get in Komiža, first row old stone buiding with impressive sea view from most of the rooms (we had the smallest acomodation for two persons and view was breathtaking every morning). You can fall asleep with the sound of the waves. The owner Tanja was very polite, the place was very clean. A beach nearby (Lucica) was our favorite place to swim, dive and refresh in nice beach bar with fair prices.
