Soft piano music provides for a relaxed atmosphere in the elegant bar. We loved everything. The location was excellent. The hotel is close to everything. Although it is on the other side of the train station and pier, it’s actually just a 5 to 10-minute walk. The chapel bridge is between the wall from the station and hotel. Behind the hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes of walking, are the Lion Monument and the Glacier Garden. At check in, we knew it was going to be an excellent stay. The concierge, Noah (I hope I spelled his name right), immediately made us feel welcome. He gave us information, tips and suggestions that made life easier for us. The lady who delivered our room service was so very wonderful as well. The customer service is just top notch: professional and yet warm. Everything about our room was just wonderful. It was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was clean and huge, and the view was just to die for. Check out was painless and quick, with the same efficient and yet warm customer service. I can’t say enough good things. If we have the chance, we would love to visit Luzern so we could stay in Hotel Schweizerhof again.

The soundproof rooms offer cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom with hairdryer. This place was exceptional for me. Very warm hospitality. I enjoyed the seasonally of dishes offered at the restaurant. Breakfast was also nice and comfort. I should visit place earlier.

In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. Fantastic hotel in a magical setting. Staff was outstanding. Room was large, clean, quiet and had magnificent views. We had dinner at their restaurant each night of our stay. The food and service was exceptional. Day 1 - Took a lovely 40 min ride on the water taxi to Lucerne for a day trip in the city. Day 2 - Took a short drive to the base of Mt. Pilatus for a trip up in the cable cars. Would love to stay here again!

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. Position was amazing. Breakfast had great choices and wonderful staff. Room comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights making use of most facilities. What a pleasure. The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. All feature wooden furniture, cable TV, and a bathroom. Everything was great ! We will recommend this guesthouse to others

Each of the modern rooms has a cable TV. This is a great place to stay in the middle of Luzern while still getting a good night sleep. Short walking distance from everything that matters and party places at night, great cafes and the train station. The breakfast was typical Swiss and really great. We actually live in Luzern and stayed here for a romantic change of scene and it suited our weekend perfectly.
