Very cozy cottage with the most amazing view over the fjord (even while sitting at the table inside), small kitchen equipped with enough things to cook for yourself, comfortable beds for up to 4 people, heating worked well, very friendly and helpful host - wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful weekend in Westeras Gard! With a view overlooking. We stayed in a small wooden house for two people. It was warm and cozy at night. Hospitable and polite staff is always helpful. They fed us a hot dinner just before closing time. Also Westeras Gard has one of the best restaurants in Geiranger, where we eat. Delicious farm food. Highly recommend this place and thank you for your state and care.

The fjord views from de kitchen were amazing, what made our dinner and breakfast a luxury we did not expect. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and made us we welcomed. The fjord facing rooms are beautiful, have great amenities and sitting in the balcony is super relaxing. Jacuzzis and sun loungers were a great touch. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a great experience as well. Super friendly service, delicious food and beautiful views.

The hotel is about 1.5km from the village of Geiranger, but it is an easy walk and it was nice to be away from all the tourists and cruise ships. When you need a transfer, the hotel is very accommodating. The room was clean and there were some lovely facilities- Jacuzzis, small gym, coffee/tea making areas, laundry for guests to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

- Avg. price/night: $222.119.2Scored 9.2WonderfulRated wonderful· 1,973 reviewseverything was exceptional except for two things the double beds meanwhile i requested one big size bed and the smokers in the rooms around us despite that we stayed in non smokers rooms but maybe the weather was too good to be true and people went out on their balconies smoking despite even on balconies there are signs of not to smoke . but the staff was exceptional, location on the fjords is wow, the jacuzzi was perfect , the bartenders , clean rooms, food is yummy. i recommend it for families who wants peace and relaxation.
