The dining experience at Johann Grill was exceptional. The restaurant showcased a delightful fusion of regional and international flavors, with each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The sumptuous breakfast buffet quickly became a cherished morning ritual, offering an impressive selection of delectable options. During our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special. They treated us to a chef's special menu, which was a delightful surprise and a testament to their commitment to personalized service. The hotel's location provided easy access to various outdoor activities, such as hiking and exploring the charming local towns. The concierge team played a crucial role in helping us plan our daily excursions, offering expert advice and seamless transportation arrangements. What truly set Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the warm and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality, and every interaction throughout our stay demonstrated their dedication to creating a memorable experience for their guests.

The staff here was exceptional, so very helpful to an English-only speaker. They helped me navigate the excursions I wanted to take using simply the bus and train schedules and saved me a lot of money by avoiding the expense of web-advised "guided tours." The room was exceptional, with a balcony that overlooked the "Eagles Nest" and Wetzmann mountains. The house's hospitality was superb, with the best breakfasts anywhere on our 3-week Germany/Austria journey. Breakfasts were excellent,; they even made us some "American" bacon & eggs, making my son feel right at home. If I am ever back in this region, I will stay with these fantastic folks!
