We always stay at the Comfort Inn Virginia Horse Center when we travel through Va on I81. The location is easy to find and quiet. We usually drive to downtown Lexington to walk about and then go to the Devil Backbone Brewpub a short drive for dinner. The breakfast is fine for travelers like us who need a quick bite to eat before we hit the road again the next morning.

The back door was broken and hard to get in. The pool wasn’t working had to go to another hotel for the kids to use.

The pool was closed and not advertised as such. Our 10 year old son was extremely disappointed because we live in Vermont and swimming in April is impossible.

Hated the bedding. Can't stand the heavy quilted duvet. They weigh too much.

The location was good once you found the driveway. The Comfort Inn is located down an alley behind other buildings.

The room was a bit humid/damp feeling but not intolerable.

Breakfast was average for this chain of hotels. Was what we expected, nothing more. Bed was comfortable & room size good. Air conditioning was adequate but noisy as most are. The room seemed somewhat humid/damp air, which was not great. Location was convenient to Interstate. Very quiet..lots of horse people as expected close to the Horse Center & a big show going on. The place felt very safe & our check in person, a young man, was especially personable. We would stay here again.

Too many pets; while we were eating our breakfast, another guest brought their large dog into the dining area, right up to where the food was served. We left, as we do not enjoy sharing our meals with animals. Need to balance the rights of pet owners with those who do not want animals around while they are eating.

Price was high due to graduation events for the quality of the product. Checkin process took a very long time.

Bedding and towels looked tired

More than adequate for a short stay. Staff had trouble checking in and extending reservation. They were nice but lacked experience. Good location. Typical breakfast but better than other Comfort Suites. Would recommend.

Carpet was wet in our room. Hallways and trim work shabby with poor workmanship for (what appeared to be ) a remodel.

The room was a bit too small for 3 persons sharing the room.

Close proximity to town and interstates. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was off road enough to be quiet for sleeping.

We specifically asked if the pool was heated and they said yes. Turns out it wasn't it was dirty and cold.

Definitely an older property. It was clean enough, but not spotless. But, we are not complaining! We were also in a dog room, so that could have affected the cleanliness.

Love that they are dog-friendly. Customer service was great. We left behind one of our dog's chew toys and they found it, called promptly and gave me info about how to have it shipped home. We were so relieved to get the toy back (dog's fave) so easily.

Placement of food on the counters could have been better for ease of selecting. There were too many tables and chairs in that room making it hard to even take a look at what was available. Hall corridor could use more lights,

Good variety of foods . The pool was open all day and evening. We appreciated the lemon water and tea and coffee in the lobby. Side door access from outside. Very comfortable beds!
