The corridors were basic and the rooms a bit basic too. Just need a bit of modernising but i suppose it all adds to the charm. it works! we would go back!

The location, on the side of a hill is amazing, 180degree views, i love the unique way the accommodation is spread across 3 buildings across 2 roads, we were in the furthest one, up next to the pool and we loved it. We arrived late at night, in the dark, it was early May and in the morning, the sunrise over the sea straight out from our balcony was EPIC! breakfast is boiled eggs, bread, fruit, yogurt, tea coffee. We used the hot tub one evening and got a glimpse of the sunset over the hill, id say you only get sunset, at the very very end of it setting over the headland to the west, the last week in May or maybe early june until end of june. We got a very small glimpse of it and it was very cool! You need a car in this area. Im not sure there's anything in walking distance. its only 20 mins drive to the carpark for Pico de Ruivo so we were delighted with that!

Floor wood boards squeak and pillows were not comfortable for me (maybe it is just me). Rooms decor is fine but I wouldn’t describe it as charming or cozy.

Location is 30-45 min away from the main towns on the south shore but in a less populated area close to ocean epic view hikes and the popular mountain hikes including to the highest mountain on the island Pico Ruivo. Views from the balcony are great and hot tub is fantastic to relax and massage muscles after a lo g day of hikes. Wifi is good, rooms clean, there is a kettle in the room to make tea, and restaurant is near by. Park right next to the building on the street if you have a car. There is also a fantastic ocean view hike right off the property that leads to the rocks in the ocean.

We would appreciate a separate shower instead of a shower in the bath tub. The resort is far from the Santana village. so you need a car or taxi to get there (or go for a long walk like we did).

The room was very spatious, the bed was big and soft. There is a lot to do (jacuzzi, bar with local drinks, game room, ...) and there are nice walks that pass close by the resort. We had a blast when eating in the restaurant with the funny waiter.

Beautiful property split into 3 different sections located in a quiet and scenic part of Santana. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I didn’t get to use the outdoor facilities but I’m sure it would have been a treat! Highly recommended!

The bar is closing too close (21:00). The wooden floor in the room is extremely squeaking.

I love the fun room - you have TV with great seating, billiard, darts and many more. Also the jacuzzi was a big surprise despite the fact it's always occupied.

The only negative thing to mention is that it is poorly soundproofed. You can hear most of what happens in rooms and corridors. This however isn't unique for this particular place, as close to all buildings of older date is poorly soundproof.

I had a room with a balcony facing the sea. I am satisfied with both the room, the view, the breakfast and the facilities. The swimming pool area has sun all day long.

The restaurant is not exceptional, the breakfast provided was not great - not many options provided and cheap options (the coffee was the worst).

The terrace with swimming pool and whirlpool was amazing. There was a very nice view on both ocean and the valley. The view from a balcony amazing as well. Accomodation was simple but we had everything we needed.

Ocean view rooms have the best sunrise views, and with the accommodation being on the top of the hill you are guaranteed to have your head in the clouds :) amazing experience! Rooms are also clean and comfortable.

the first day we didn't have hot water, but the fault was fixed. Room was cold breakfast is very poor. all six days we got bread cheese and ham for breakfast, some fruits... no warm food :) coffee is also bad

The bed was too soft / small and with the rain at night, the water from the roof ended up in out terrace, waking us up. Make other (bigger) rooms are better

It was quite cold in the night. No other attractions,nothing around. But it is nice to stay one night. The floor everywhere in the hotel is very "sound full"

The room felt chilly. The towels appeared unclean. Additionally, after housekeeping, there was no extra soap or shower gel provided.

The location and the view are spectacular when the skies are clear, but on unfavorable days, it's wet, windy, and chilly.

The water didn't work on the last night (probably a pipe issue) The hair dryer is kinda old, barely blows.

Great spot for those renting a car, between Ponta de São Lourenço and Pico do Arieiro, 5 min by car to a big grocery store. Good value for price. Breakfast is a plus.

We wanted to have a bath but there was no plug for a certain reason. Also the reception is in the restaurant and to get hold of someone, you go to the bar and ask a barman to call another person...the hotel is located across the road...
