We had the absolute best stay at Mowie‘s during our honeymoon. Not only that it is one of the most peaceful places ever visited, right at the ocean front with sundown view… This place comes along with a perfect restaurant and kitchen chef, absolutely everything was delicious, the salads, tuna tartar etc (everything fresh and clean!) Mixing menus from breakfast to dinner throughout out the day wanna let you explore everything! Also the cocktails are out of this world. All of this is topped with outstanding service and the super kind people, a real kind team having an eye on every detail and providing you the perfect customer experience. Thank you guys!

Typical Sasak bungalows with modern amenities, very clean and very well maintained. Excellent staff, very caring and friendly. You feel very pampered. Central position in Kuta village, but calm and tranquil. It was a very relaxing stay!

Rooms are very basic and in need of renovation. They are quite small but we didn’t spend much time in it except to sleep or shower.

What makes this hotel is the wonderful staff, each and everyone of them are delightful. The location was superb, right on the most beautiful beach. Food was high end, nothing we didn’t like.

Breakfast could start a bit earlier

The best thing is its laid back vibe and its location, where many restaurants and bars are located, so it’s pleasant to stay here in the evening and it’s easy to go to the nearby places. The beach is very nice and you can easily spend the day relaxing here. Staff are relaxed and nice. The rooms are simple and nice. The food in the restaurant is great!

Only minor thing is that the rooms are not very soundproof so you can hear loud music / background noise on the weekend. Nothing some ear plugs can’t solve!

This place is amazing! It’s in a great location - close to many beach bars and restaurants. We chose to eat dinner at Mowies and the food is fantastic. Also it’s a beautiful place to watch the sunset. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable.

It's a fantastic hotel with nice and clean bungalows. Just in front of the beach, with good restaurant. Staff od the hotel was do helpfull and nice. We felt there like at home.

It seems a lot bigger in the pictures. Maybe is the distortion, but it is definetely smaller. And the hotel itself could use a little renovation. Especially the rooms and the room bathroom. But it is still clean, cute and well taken care off.

The location is great. Very close to where you get off the fast boat. It's less than 5 min walk. The bed and the aircon is good and the staff is amazing.

There were worms after a rainy day that filled our bathroom. Lizards would crawl into the room as well.

We had an issue with a broken air conditioning. They tried fixing it but with very limited success, resulting in our room being very hot (especially during the night) for 4 out of 7 days. We asked for some kind of compensation for this but they were unable to help us.

The location is superb! Gorgeous sunsets on the beach just in front of the hotel. Awesome staff in the restaurant.

This was one of my favorite stays during my one month traveling in Indonesia. Best location on the island facing sunset and in the middle of everywhere. The staff are super hospitable and the restaurant is the best on the island. Must try the double cheese burger. They have different room types with different sizes. You will defiantly have a great time here.

This place is an affordable heaven on earth! The staff make this stay so much better as they are incredible accomodating. We stayed in the beachfront bur and wokeup to the waves in the morning, we can't wait to come back.

Everything was great

Mowies is the best place to stay on the island as it is close to the main strip and port for access to the other islands and far enough away from the noise and people It is right on the beach ....small cottage style rooms which are spacious and clean The food was exceptional, and there was always service with a smile Fantastic fruit smooties and juices in a great atmosphere day and night I highly recommend this place for a short stay ....it has a cool relaxed island vibe Kick off your shoes and relax GILI Air needs to find a way to improve its waste management problem (which seems to be a problem all over indonesia), and there is fallout from rapid over tourism and development ! Mowies made our stay on the island very pleasant....it was truly a little pocket of loveliness 😍
