The staff were friendly and the bed comfortable - a good night's sleep was had because despite highway location the room was very quiet.

The unit has been upgraded with new fittings and furnishing. I was really impressed! What I like is the lakefront view. Will come back!

The host is very lovely and the cabin is super clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend this motel and every time I have to stay overnight at Gore, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommended it. A recliner chair is a plus.

Free bike storage is provided. Loved the warm welcome we received remotely, as we were checking in after hours. The unit was spotless and very well equipped! Love that there was recycling (something I find lacking in NZ hotels) and that the laundry facilities were free of charge.

Free Wi-Fi and online New Zealand newspapers are available throughout the motel. Secure luggage storage and a 2 guest laundry's are provided. There is a library of DVDs, games and books available at reception. Property was so clean. Best I have seen in a long time.
