Google map doesn’t show the most convenient way of getting there so we were intimidated at first, but turned out if you buy the Hakone free pass and take the cable car, it’s only 2min walk from Naka Gora station. We enjoyed the onsen, the free yukatas, and the traditional dinner and breakfast. Very good service and free coffee and sake at the lobby!

Staff provided quality dinner recommendations as I stayed the two nights that the restaurant was closed. Very close to the Gora station via an underpass (though Google Maps took me the long way around)

She is trilingual in English, Chinese, and Japanese. I would stay here again for future trips to Hakone. The location is extremely close to the Kamigora cable car station, which directly connects to the Gora Station from Hakone Yumoto station.
