Went above and beyond. I had already spent 3 and half hours driving in terrible weather and when I got to Minden, I couldn’t risk it anymore with my two children. I booked a room and went to the hotel to find it closed, already past check in time. I called and the owner had the staff come over quickly and set a room up for us so that we had a safe place to stay and get out of the weather! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have stayed in at a hotel and the bedding was just as comfortable! Thank you for turning a nightmare into an adventure I’ll never forget. You can’t beat the small town hospitality! Very much more than what I expected for a last minute impromptu booking.

We recommend lunch and or dinner there too as we had a delicious dinner date which was lovely. Haliburton County is also a stunningly beautiful area of Ontario to explore and The Rockcliffe Moore Falls is a wonderful place to stay when in the area. We love it at The Rockcliffe - Moore Falls.
