Holiday Apartment Casa Marianna, built in the 13th century and recently renovated respecting its original characteristics with iron grills on the windows, just next a medieval gate of the castle od Messenano. It is a 2-room house (2+2 guests - 55 m²) developed into two levels: At the ground floor there is a living/dining room with large fireplace and double sofa bed, american kitchen well equipped with oven refrigerator and freezer. On the first floor of Holiday Apartment Casa Marianna there is the sleeping area consisting of 1 double bedroom served by a bathroom with shower. Opposite Marianna's door there is outdoor area with wi-fi benches and lawn chairs to sun bathe and relax. walking and trekking.
We like to travel around the world, but we also like our Region. We'll be happy to help you discovering Umbria. During the summer we live next to the hamlet. We'll give you information about Umbria and itswonderful towns
Messenano is a village resonant of ancient times and is itself a timeless place, steeped in authentic and pristine antiquity with architecture belonging to the 12th Century while inhabited and lovingly restored by 21st Century visionaries. When staying in the village, guests can enjoy a true off-the-beaten-path experience along with famous Umbrian hospitality. Guests are welcome to fully integrate into the social, cultural and gastronomic way of village life here. The experience in Messenano is a new, old-fashioned way to stay in Italy where the natural beauty of the landscape and medieval architecture provides a lush backdrop to a unique and unforgettable stay which allows each guest to discover their own personal and emotional connection to the area. The country house offers many of the same services available in a traditional hotel while allowing each guest the chance to feel emersed in the daily rhythms typical of the place. The hiking and touring in the immediate area allows visitors to have a holiday that is both relaxing and invigorating.
