Get there early, do the 1.1 km circular walk at the start of the day, have a coffee at the bar on the way, see the Ponte dei Torri and then do La Rocca (which closes for lunch) opens, then closes by 18.45.

Great mountaintop place to stay.
Great mountaintop place to stay. Beautiful views of valley and other mountain too villages. The BnB was very comfortable with everything you need. You will need a car or friend to drive you around but a great base

Look from far but consider if its really worth the trip - the museum inside is far from exceptional and getting there, although helped by recent automated lifts, means you have to leave the car much behind, after navigating through Spoleto not easy streets

The breakfast room allows you to see this view at any time. The breakfast room itself has plenty of seating for the guests and serves a very good breakfast with attentive staff. Our room, was particularly roomy and faced out over the pool setting.

Our host Liuba was lovely and very helpful. The apartment building is located at the beginning of the Old Town and for us that was very convenient because we not only toured Spoleto, we also visited other areas so it was easy to come and go. We parked in the public lot right next to the building. Spoleto is very pretty, La Rocca amazing! And the town is the perfect location for visiting Marmore Falls, Rasiglia, Montefalco, Foligno, Spello. Thank you Liuba!
