You have to decide what you are looking for from this property. If it’s relaxation or meditation, this is exceptional. If you want ocean, sightseeing, or recreation, there are better choices. It is VERY remote and very little to do on the property except to swim. The staff, especially Giovanni, are exceptional—so friendly and welcoming.

Loved: setting is really beautiful, the rooms are like stepping back in time and the area is super peaceful. Appreciated the lovely natural soaps from the area. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were exceptional.

A beautiful family owned property which lets you experience authentic Sardenia. The hosts and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and personal and did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful stay. It is clear that the property is run with love and enthusiasm and the staff are well taken care of. We couldn't have had a better time in Sardenia thanks to this wonderful experience. From breakfast, to drinks at the poolside, to dinner, to sustainable and local products, to the view over the cork tree forest...we could go on! It was all amazing!

Everything was lovely. I was skeptical driving there as it’s very remote, but from the moment you arrive you’re meant to feel at home. The accommodation, the grounds, the food, all is wonderful. I was there during some bad weather, but they held a cooking class that lasted all afternoon and made you quickly forget the weather. It doesn’t hurt that it was an excellent opportunity to bond with fellow guests over a few glasses of wine. My only regret is not staying there longer. I will most certainly return.

We had a wonderful stay with Borgo Lu Puleu! The place is just absolutely beautiful, situated on top of the hill with nothing but pure silence and unspoiled nature. Food is delicious (they grow veggies, fruit and make wine directly on the property). It’s a family owned borgo, their story is fascinating and the hosts are such sweethearts! They went above and beyond to make our stay (and departure) easy and exceeded all of our expectations! We loved every single part of it and are hoping to come back again! 100% recommended!

This property is a gem. off the beaten track, it is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and sunset— and enjoy the sound of the wind. The service is excellent, and every desire is attended to. The food is excellent ( farm to table with much of the meat and veggies from their farm), the pool stunning, and our room was very comfortable. if you want to be surrounded by history and art— go to the Borgo! A very well rounded experience surrounded by the peace of the mountains and beautiful vistas. And the owners respect for the women who lived here is admirable, and their environmentally sustainable practices are appreciated! Lovely family run old Borgo in the very scenic Loguduro. Charming rooms and lovely old furniture. Excellent restaurant and reasonably priced. Great wine too from their own vineyard. Breakfast was fabulous with freshly baked pastries, fruit, delicious yoghurt, ricotta and local honey. Great coffee too!
