Awesome place! Great staff, and many other nice travelers. It's a super cozy place to stay that feels exactly like home the minute you arrive. Everybody functions like a little family hanging out and talking to each other. Free bikes (or motobike rentals) to get into town, free canoe to explore the lake. I really loved it here. The location is truly awesome even if it's 15mins bike away from the city. No regrets. We were here 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. Definitely one of the highlights of my entire Sri Lanka trip.

We had a double private room which was pretty comfortable with a big fan and a bit far from the dorms and the common area! Which is good if you want to relax but you are not so included in the group of the rest of the travellers! I had a great room on the second floor with a balcony, and a view of the jungle were I saw monkeys everyday🐒 - The vibe in the house is always good, with the amazing manager of the house and the other people living there❤️ either is drinking coffee at the balcony together, playing cards, going out, laughing and sharing stories - The location is at one of the best surfspots in the south, Lazy left and Lazy right, and if you don’t wanna surf there, there’s always other options not far away🏄🏽‍♀️ There’s also a bunch of local restaurants nearby with amazing food!

Spending Christmas and NYE with them (bonfire & waterfight!!) was the cherry on the cake. They feel like family now and I know it will be hard to say goodbye. The food is delicious and you can sign up for a cooking class by Jud herself (please do, it’s amazing). Oh and don’t forget to try her coco iced latte. 🙏🏼 There’s beaches and temples to explore, you can rent a scooty or bicycle if you don’t want to walk. And so much more but this message is too long already. Just book a few nights (or a month ;)) and see for yourself. Judith and Isuru will welcome you with open arms. Love you guys!
