Boasting 2 shared kitchens, Hostel Matilori is located in the centre Sámara. Free WiFi access is available. Guests can relax outside on the shaded patio surrounded by mango trees while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Matilori is a little pearl right in the middle of Samara. The entrance made beautiful by the legendary Oscar, welcomes you into a little bubble of good and relaxed vibes and a long table where you’re likely to meet some nice people to share a meal and good conversations with. The two kitchens are spacious and perfect for cooking. The rooms are nice, and the staff is just great people! I especially loved the hanging bed outside, and the decorations that makes the place feel homy!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I loved everything about this space. My budget room was small but perfect for my stay. I loved cooling off in the dipping pool before bed each night. Great location … 5 minutes to walk to all restaurants, beach and shops but also not right in the middle of all the late night music etc.

Really nice hostel, pretty, a very friendly welcome. There's space to put your stuff, and a locker for each guest. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean, they provide soap and change the towels every day. And I loved the atmosphere: it's really small (12 beds in total, I think), so at least when I was there, everyone got to know each other quickly and people hung out together quite a bit, which makes it a great place for solo travellers.

All of the volunteers and owners really work hard to create a family atmosphere. I have stayed in over a hundred hostels and Casa Terra definitely stands out. The people I met here truly made my week in Sámara special!!

I love the vibe there. Everything was arranged so nicely and made you feel at home. Also everything is cleaned every day, including the community areas, bathrooms, kitchen etc. There is coffee and tea for free 😍 and the supermarket is next door. Most of all, I liked that it doesn't fit too many people, which supports the chill, family kind of vibe :) Best hostel in town and also one of my favorites I visited so far.
