I had the most extraordinary experience at the Family Homestay in Darjeeling, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the owners, Bidur and his wife Sandhya. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. Sandhya's home-cooked meals were a highlight of our stay. Every dish was prepared with care and bursting with local flavors, providing a true taste of Darjeeling. Their food was not only delicious but also healthy, a perfect blend of homestyle cooking and culinary expertise. Bidur went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He helped us arrange local transportation and suggested hidden gems for us to explore, away from the usual tourist spots. His knowledge of the area was invaluable, and we were able to discover some truly breathtaking places. The homestay itself was a haven of peace and tranquility. The views of the mountains and tea gardens from the balcony and terrace were simply stunning. On clear days, we could even see the majestic Kanchenjunga, adding to the magic of our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities provided. The proximity to the market area was convenient, and we could easily avail of local shared taxis to explore the town. Overall, our stay at Family Homestay was nothing short of fantastic. Bidur and Sandhya's hospitality, coupled with the beautiful surroundings and delicious food, made it a truly unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return on our next visit to Darjeeling. Highly recommended!

To be really honest ..I would fall short of words if I start narrating my experience of this property ...too good ...felt home ...personalised hospitality from the time we check in until we left...I would recommend all those who would want to feel home on your vacation please visit Peace valley in Victoria Road.Don't go outside in search of good food because the home kitchen serves best of Food ...must try their Aloo dam in the morning breakfast..infact all the meals they served was very edible.

Darjelling view homestay is far away from Darjeeling and the roads are extremely in a very poor condition. The above sentence shouldn't deter you from booking this place as it would give you the perfect view of kanchenjenga and the location is beautiful surrounded by a monastery, beautiful village,pets,flowers and it's just like a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Darjelling. Lata didi and her husband were very warm and took care of all our needs.The food was delicious and our Christmas was indeed in a winter wonderland.
