Located in Kyoto, 1.1 km from Nijo Castle and 1.7 km from the centre, Rinn Shiki Juraku provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. This is a great place to stay for when you want to have your own private quiet space (and a bit more space than a typical hotel room), but still want to be cared for by hotel-like staff. We landed on this place because I wanted to stay in a typical Ryokan, but my husband wanted his own bathroom. It was the best stay of our Japan trip out of 3 hotels that were all far above average. It feels very secluded and private, there are around 10 apartments in total and everyone has their own entrance. There's a coin washing machine as well. There is a small breakfast buffet with really great coffee and they provide some free snacks during the day as well I believe. All in all it feels really kind and caring.

In the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kyoto International Manga Museum, 谷町君・星屋旅館・神泉ノ宿 二条城 has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. Everything was new and clean. Location is also good, close to Nijo castle and with good connection to other areas.

In the Ukyo Ward district of Shimo saga, close to Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 谷町君・星屋・談山旅館 京都嵐山 has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. I literally liked everything The cleanses the beds the apartment and the stuff were very helpful and polite also i liked the location ,,,, it far from center but its quite and calm and around it 3 to 4 market (one of them in front of you ) also near bus station (like 2 min by foot ) and for train station ( 10 by foot ) And the best thing it is very close to Arashiyama area I really recommend it

In the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kyoto Station, Kyoto Villa Kotone has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a balcony. Excellent location, fantastic house. Convenient to everything you want or could need. James, the owner, goes above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay at the house and time in kyoto. His guidebook on what buses to take to attractions was incredibly helpful, and the wall map to show what attraction is in which direction. The 3 bedrooms upstairs allowed our family of 5 to have space, and the upstairs and downstairs toilet was very helpful. The house is located from the west exit at kyoto station, near JR office and trains.

Well set in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Villa Ninja offers a balcony, air conditioning, free WiFi and flat-screen TV. The 3-star holiday home features garden views and is 1.4 km from Nijo Castle. James delivered a wonderful experience on arrival. The house was absolutely beautiful and delivered an authentic old school Japanese experience. I can't recommend Kyoto Villa Ninja enough.

In the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Campton Kiyomizu Vacation Rental has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. Amazing location and incredibly accommodating hosts. Unlike other big hotels you really get a sense that everyone there cares and wants to ensure the enjoyment of your stay. We were travelling with a 10 month old and they ensured we had everything we needed. The location cannot be beat right in the heart of Gion, we found ourselves not worrying about the crowds since we were right in the centre of the action and could explore the area whenever we wanted.

Kyoisuke offers accommodation within 700 metres of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. Centrally located and quiet. Your own home down a peaceful little street.

BenTen Residences offer a Japanese machiya accommodation in the heart of Higashiyama, Kyoto. Yasaka Shrine is 7 minutes on foot, while Kiyomizu Temple is a 14-minute stroll. beautiful refurbished Machiya in an excellent location. ample room for 6 persons. very clear check in process and clean. concierge was very helpful.

Situated in Kyoto, 500 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum,Kyoto Machiya Fukune is an accommodation with a garden. The accommodation has a hot tub. The host was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed making the tea and the sweets were a nice treat. The room was great and the outside tub was very relaxing.

Open from May 2017, Mulan Hostel is situated in Arashiyama, a 2-minute walk from Arashiyama Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The property features a shared bathroom. excellent hostel, location, stuff and vibe! Top!
