The complete charm of the Hameau. The host was extremely friendly sourcing fresh bread and croissants for breakfast which was all delicious especially the apple juice! The room is full of antiques .The bed is comfortable and the bed linen is lovely.

Our family with three young children really enjoyed the stay, the house is lovely with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of space in the living area. We loved spending time in the swimming pool, the kids could play in the large garden, and feed the donkeys and chickens. The family are very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, the setting sun over the forest, plenty of hot water from the air source heat pump, the tranquil setting, the games room, the cosy wood stove for cooler evenings, the Wednesday morning market and independent shops in Carrouges. Outdoor seating thoughtfully placed to make the most of both the morning and afternoon sun. The location was a perfect base for us to travel to other parts of Orne and also into Mayenne. If you like the peace and quiet, it's very good! Beautiful surroundings and tiny house where you will find everything you need. The cottage is located next to the owner's house. They were not at home. Privacy will disappear when they get home. We were able to use garden furniture as owners were not there.
