I recently had the pleasure of staying at Onsen Guest House Tsutaya, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere. The staff at Tsutaya were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The shared dorm room was not only comfortable but also immaculately clean. The bedding and facilities were well-maintained, and the layout of the room offered a sense of privacy in a communal setting. The location of the guest house was also ideal, nestled in a peaceful area that allowed for a tranquil escape from the bustling city. It was the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. I highly recommend Onsen Guest House Tsutaya to anyone seeking an authentic Japanese experience with top-notch service. My stay was memorable, and I can't wait to return to this gem of a guest house.

Located in Gora, Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- features a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available. The garden was absolutely beautiful, and the lounge area was nice! They also had water and tea available at all times. We had japanese breakfast, which I think is part of the japanese guest house experience :D they also have a shuttle service to Gora Station in the morning. The most amazing part was the Onsen (used the left on - very beautiful)! We abolutely loved it, and were able to squeeze in 2 baths dueing our 1 night stay. Lastly, staff and owner were super nice and helpful! The owner even offered to drive us to a train station so we could get to Odawara more easily for our flight. We really appreciated it!! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Hakone Mori No Yado " vintage lodge in the nature of HAKONE" is set in Hakone, 8.4 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station and 46 km from Fuji-Q Highland. Everything! We were so lucky to have stayed here. It's clean and tidy, outside the main tourist areas so it's nice and quiet, Kuniko the owner is very kind, speaks excellent English and gave us lots of info for sightseeing, the breakfast was amazing, the bus stops outside the driveway and top that all off with a super relaxing private onsen. Best value for money!

Situated within 600 metres of Yuigahama Beach and 1.2 km of Zaimokuza Beach, CASA Kamakura Espresso&BED features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kamakura. The lady at Casa is super nice. There was no water yet she gave me a kettle and a tea table. The room is enough for 2 compared to general size in Japan. I am totally satisfied. Location is perfect, close to Hase Dera and Big Budha, less than 5 mins to the Hase station, and opposite to the bus station. Lots of food around.

Situated 47 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Irori Guest House Tenmaku offers 1-star accommodation in Hakone and has a bar. Everything!! The traditionel Japanese feel, the staff, the common room and common kitchen, the dinner. I stayed here with my two children at 12 and 14 and we all loved it. Easy to get to Gora and to do the roundtrip.

Set just less than 1 km from Yuigahama Beach, Guest House Irodori Kamakura offers accommodation in Kamakura with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a concierge service. Very unique designs inside including the sumarai armor. The breakfast was made by the host and his neighbors ,and very traditional. We enjoyed our conversations with him!

Open in April 2017, Field Hakone Resort is set in Hakone, a 6-minute walk from Sengokuannaishomae Bus Stop. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on... We stayed two weeks at Field Hakone Resort to enjoy lake Ashi and its surroundings. The location of the hotel is perfect to move around the Hakone Area (very good accessible with bus). The staff is also very nice and the rooms big and comfortable. We will definitely return in our next trip to Japan!

Situated in Noge district in Yokohama, GuestHouse FUTARENO is a 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations. Charming guesthouse in a very convenient location. Everything is within walking distances. The best part is the nearest station (Hidenochi station) is one train ride from/to Haneda Airport station, Yokohama Station, or Yokosuka Chuo station (Yokosuka US Base).

Situated in Yokosuka and with Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine reachable within 24 km, 酒と宿と不動産-yado- features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Great big room, clean, comfortable, warm in a Lovely old building. Friendly hosts, I booked last minute while cycling around Tokyo bay and was greeted with a smile, a great recommendation for somewhere to eat late at night and they allowed me to store my bicycle inside overnight. I would definitely say again if I am back in Yokosuka anytime.
