the best stay in Hakone, you have a public onsen with open and indoor onsen, and the best communal areas are exceptional! the location is very strategic in the Myashita area and Gotemba, the access is within walking distance to the train station, and in the front of the hotel is the bus stop

OMG! I cant start to describe how wonderful was our staying here, this is an experience that you cant miss! the traditional japanese room was by far the most spacious room we had in our whole travel, the view to the garden and the mountains its amazing, also they provide teabags and a teapot to enjoy in the room relaxing, the private onsen was also a wonderfull experience included in the stay with the convenience that can be enjoyed by families and tattoed person since its reserved for each room. The hotel also provides transportation to a nearby train/cable car station, the breakfast its delicous as well as the dinner...oh and the staff! super friendly and as well as in all Japan they will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, they speak english if your cant speak Japanese (tho everyone should try at least the basics if you plan to travel to a foreing country) Overall our experience in Hakone was awesome and staying here was the cherry on top!

Really clean and well-maintained. Very friendly staff. Japanese style rooms with tatami mats. Lobby-cum-living room was spacious with a nice design and a warm and inviting vibe. The evening dinner around a fire-pit was a nice experience.

It was spacious and had a traditional vibe while being modern. Close to all amenities and also has a great laundry facility. The best part was the owners, who were super nice and welcoming and were always willing to help.

The staff answered my various questions and tried to find solutions to suit my demands considering our language barrier. The lockers to fit my various luggages were huge and adapted to backpack travelers. The facilities were clean and confortable to use. I found the room and the capsules structure unusual but it was efficient and lovely to stay in and the staff's recommendation to be quiet in the sleeping area made the stay more pleasant. Also, the kitchen and communal room made it easier to talk to other travelers and enjoy the night around a jenga game.

I loved it!! The location is so convenient, just 2 mins walk from the station. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. If you're going to Hakone don't think just book this place. I really enjoyed the in house onsen, cherry on the cake!!

Went in September to spend 3 days in the area. The staff is sooooo welcoming and have an electronic translator, they are very friendly and helpful and very open to discussion. The place is not so quiet because of the train station, but it makes it very easy to travel across the Hakone region since you have all commodities and transportations down the street in front of the hotel. The room is pure classic 20th century japan and very clean, I just love the atmosphere in it. I was almost the only client so I had the footbath and onsen for me alone which was so cool ! I really recommand this place, and I'll definitely come back. 😊
