The area, it's superb, not too crowded with about a dozen places to eat. There's a couple of nice walks nearby including one along the coast to the chapel of St Paul which takes about 2 hours. The water is also clear compared to some of the fine sand beaches.

It’s super close to Samaria Gorge and other interesting trails. Has a tavern downstairs where Georgios serves amazing local food. Georgios and Maria are amazing hosts, very warm, very helpful and crying. Room itself clean, cosy and with a very nice sea-view. Room has basic equipment (kettle, fridge, air-condition, additional blankets and pillows) , but it’s all what we needed. Very very good value for reasonable money.
