From the moment we entered the property, we were made to feel very much at home and more like family than guests. The room was very comfortable and cosy (Patricia had very thoughtfully placed some electric blankets in the room as the weather was wet and damp). Good variety for breakfast, we had the freshest eggs (picked every morning from the barn) and the best tea and coffee of our trip ar Scorrabrae. We would definitely recommend Scorrabrae to anyone visiting Orkney.

She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and the breakfast was superb. We were travelling with a dog and was really happy that nothing was an issue. Great panorama walks uphill from the property and in close driving distance to both Kirkwall and Stromness. With beautiful horses and other farm animals around it was a great rural break and a really good night sleep:)

A huge sitting/dinning area. Cottagey worm atmosphere and a sea view wont disappoint you. Delicious breakfast. Two days is a bare minimum in order to visit all places in offer. Don't forget to visit Stromness and go for a cliff walk by the Gloup!JoannaFamily with young children

The room and facilities were fine however and the host was most excellent in caring for us when she was full on with lambing. Breakfasts were excellent. Certainly different accommodation but we would use again if we needed accommodation in Orkney.RoderickYoung couple
