Very friendly family with a great new building. Allowed me to check in last minute really late and had everything needed ! Let me park outside there house even moved the cars for my van. Had water tea coffee and an air fryer so I could make my breakfast the next morning!

Daniella and her team were very welcoming, cheerful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The venue was clean throughout, with a spacious dining area. The food was lovely, tasty, well presented and filling! The bedroom I had was quaint suitable for a solo traveller with TV, en suite and freshly laundered bed linen and towels. Overall, I would highly recommend The Old Bell as a decent, safe place to stay.

I walked back from the town centre around 22:00 and felt perfectly safe. The room was comfortable and the host was very attentive. There is a well-stocked supermarket, with long opening hours, less than 5 minutes walk away. The car was parked off-road and was very secure.
