The accomdation was perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. It was really easy (and cheap) to get around using Uber. Monica was very welcoming and lovely to chat to, we really enjoyed the vineyard tour and wine tasting evening! The house was a perfect size and the private seating area outside was great. The pool was a good size for a plunge pool and although its shared between the 3 houses we never had any issues getting a sunbed or a swim, the view was also amazing! We will definitely be returning, would be a great place to visit as a group across the 3 houses.

If you want to find a little jewel away from the hustle and bustle yet near enough to the town, this is the place. Fatima's has created a little home for everyone, with her goats, chickens and 2 dogs, Rex and Liva. It's a farm with the all the comforts of a hotel, a lovely swimming pool, places to sit outside and read in the garden and of course, her award -winning café with her cakes and the most delicious gluten-free patisseries. In addition, the big bedroom rooms have a TV, AC, Wifi and the most comfortable beds. You're a 5 min drive away from the town, the beaches and only 30 mins from Tavira. Highly recommend it. Fatima is full of stories and laughs and of course speaks numerous languages!

We would absolutely recommend a stay in Quinta dos Cochichos. We liked everything, actually. We immediately felt at ease. It's a beautiful location. Marc & Paula wanted to make sure we've had a nice stay (and we did!). No question is too much for them. The appartement we've stayed in was cosy and very nice, as was the whole domain. We took breakfast twice and we enjoyed it a lot. All products were fresh and local. We could also enjoy the seasonal fruit as much as we wanted.

Although it is very rural, the peace and tranquility are great although Estoi or Sao Bras de Alportel are only about 10 mins drive away. Our room was very comfortable with a good 'fridge and plenty of space with an ample sized balcony overlooking the pool. It was just a shame that the weather was not better otherwise we would have enjoyed having relaxing time around the pool area.

The campsite has great potential and a lovely rustic feel. I liked that there was a beach umbrella to borrow. Please note that this website only shows guests the positive reviews - and I had a lot of negative here. In summary: It is neglected and uncomfortable. Unisex bathrooms. No fridge. Delightful hosts who run a an exceptional small quinta hotel Loved the pool, the gardens, the superb room, the relaxed atmosphere, the views (so many birds!). Everything was perfect for us and please remember that this was only 20 minutes from the port and city centre of Olhao, so easy access to Culatra and the islands, and within easy reach of Faro. What more could you wish for? Can't wait to return in October!
