We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

The accommodation itself was very clean and cosy and they mentioned the peace and quiet along with the stunning views were ideal for any getaway. The little touches like having the essentials there on arrival so you can relax with a cuppa after your journey just summed up the thoughtful approach this host has taken. The location was wonderful. The host was so good! She had left us sandwich fixings which came in very handy after traveling all night with 2 small children from the States. Absolutely fantastic estate. not only did we feel taken care of, there is so much to see and do at Mount Juliet. It wouldn’t be right to end the review without mentioning David. He is an exceptional part of the staff that made us feel like royalty. All the small gestures added up to great memories. Thank you David for teaching us about the Estate and making sure we enjoyed every inch of our stay! oh, and you must try a Lemondrop if you stop by the bar. We’ll definitely be back!
