The breakfast was very good, the eggs were cooked just right. The room was very big with soft carpets. Only after visiting the castle (just 5 minutes by foot) we learned that the house has a historical importance. It's also 5-7 minutes by foot in another direction to the older part of the town with a lot of bars and other landmarks. There was a private parking available.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. It is as described very cozy and in the countryside so also very quiet. A whole little house in itself, with comfy beds, a small living and a small kitchen, and also terrace and seating outside. Food for continental breakfast was stored in the kitchen so we could prepare it independently at the time we wanted. We were also very happy to enjoy the company of the two very friendly and purring cats of the house, and were also greeted a couple of times by the dog, Pluto (also very nice and friendly). Location was very convenient for us, about 10-12 km from Kilkenny so it was possible to dine there and come back after, and we enjoyed the quietness of the countryside. Overall it was really great and we were so happy to have found this place! I couldn't recommend it more!
