Very clean, high standards, quiet, very attentive staff. Location is good enough for walking to the old city and night bazaar. Breakfast was very good. Not too much variety, but all is tasty. Highly recommend.

Located in the south of the old city center of Chiang Mai Gate, Villa Oranje Chiang Mai is 50 metres to Saturday Walking Street or Wualai Road. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. I liked absolutely everything! Incredibly cozy, clean, comfortable, polite. Large bed, spacious room. And the location is 10 out of 10! Close to everything and at the same time a quiet place.

They helped with everything from taxi bookings, laundry and restaurant suggestions (let them send you in the direction of some amazing Khao Soi). The location is great, on the edge of the old city, and the room are large and comfortable with a modern industrial edge. Also very close the Saturday night market, which in my view, is a nicer more chilled version of the Sunday market.

The room was bright, clean and comfortable, good for a family of 4. Kids liked especially the seperate space only for them with a futon. We had a sitting area in the room as well as at the balcony. The hotel paid attention to detail: there was a drying rack at the balcony, umbrellas in case of rain. Beds were super comfy with 2 pillows to chose from. The service was really good. Hotel helped us with everything despite the staff speaking little English. At breakfast we asked if there is any watermelon and it was served 5 minutes later. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, coffee delicious. Location is very convenient, just outside the old city. Pool is small but enough for children to cool after a long day (actually it was bigger than I expected from the photos).

Situated across the street from Chiang Mai Gate and a 2-minute walk from the famous Saturday Walking Street is the boutique Mhonsa Hotel. The hotel is very close to chiang mai gate and some iconic old temples and pagodas. There are many excursions in this hotel and some of them are not for the faint of heart. My stay was very smooth and one of the staff, Pop made me feel at home. Every morning I missed breakfast but they gave me take away. When I revisit chiang mai, this is the hotel I will choose again 😍
