The property and staff were phenomenal. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Europe, the staff was helpful, friendly and attentive, and all property amenities were fantastic. We particularly loved the location in Alfama, and would definitely stay here again.

Alfama Apartments Services offers accommodation within 2 km of the centre of Lisbon, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge. What a lovely historic building in a fabulous area. I stayed in the second floor river view apartment, it was very clean, very comfortable, and very convenient for exploring all of Lisbon, either walking or on public transport. Supermarket 10 minutes away and small shop immediately close by. A quick walk up the hill behind the apartments takes you to the castle and there are many many very good cafes and restaurants close by. The shower and air conditioning were perfect (although it was February it was rather warm at night) and I liked the choice of taking the stairs or using the lift. I was greeted by Agnes's lovely daughter, and Agnes was easy to message if required, she very kindly organized a taxi for me to the airport. I did not have a chance to try the family restaurant but I will definitely do so next time.
