It was nice to have continued snacks and drinks in the lobby all day. Midnight curry udon was fun. The baths were beautiful.

HIBARI GUESTHOUSE er staðsett í Sendai, í innan við 6,5 km fjarlægð frá Sendai City Community Support Center og 20 km frá Shiogama Shrine. It was perfect!!! Extremely comfortable, extremely convenient! And good that there was parking space! It was always clean and because we booked during the week, we got super lucky and we got the female dorm to ourselves! Staff was extremely warm and welcoming and accomodating!

Ryokusuitei er staðsett á hæð og státar af stórkostlegu skógarútsýni, stórum varmaböðum innan- og utandyra og heilsulind sem býður upp á snyrtimeðferðir og nudd. Very convenient as the ryokan has a bus service to and from Sendai station directly, and also has an on-call service to send and pick up from the main bus terminal in Akiu.

Hotel Water Resort Sendai (Adult Only) er vel staðsett í Taihaku Ward-hverfinu í Sendai, 12 km frá Sendai City Community Support Center, 30 km frá Shiogama-helgiskríninu og 10 km frá Sendai-kastala. Very clean and privacy. The food is yummy.

The facilities were great - loved the onsen, games corner. Good location - close to Sendai and some nice nature areas to visit in close proximity to the hotel such as the Japanese style garden.

Akiu Fuga er gististaður með bar í Sendai, 38 km frá Shiogama-helgiskríninu, 17 km frá Sakuraoka Daijingu og 17 km frá Sendai-alþjóðamiðstöðinni. This is the perfect onsen town to be in if you are near Sendai. We had a great stay in the Japanese western room with a private bath. It was amazing! We had a great view of the river and the bath was so relaxing. I love that we had the choice of sleeping on a western bed or laying out the Japanese mattress. We had the full board option which inlcudes dinner and breakfast. Both meals were scrumptious. They had a set menu and explained each course (they even tried to explain it in their best English). We so highly appreciated their efforts. There is a bar with a free welcome drink, and some very unique drinks to try. Highly recommend this place if you want to experience the traditional onsen with more privacy. Also this little onsen town is the cutest! They have a short trail along the streams which is very accessible and more of a leisurely walk. There are some cute cafes in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend checking this area out. If you are here in Spring there are some beautiful cherry blossom spots. Another pro is that there is an express bus near Sendai station to this area. It's about a 40 minute ride.

Hotel Next II-Adult Only er þægilega staðsett í Taihaku Ward-hverfinu í Sendai, 9,3 km frá Sendai City Community Support Center, 22 km frá Shiogama-helgiskríninu og 8,4 km frá Zuihoden. The bed size was bigger than indicated (positive mistake). The bath tub was awesome :)

Located in Sendai in the Miyagi region and Sendai City Community Support Center reachable within 21 km, Akiu Canada 鴻の巣温泉 provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a private... This place is a gem. We only stayed here one night and felt sad we had to move on. The property faces a beautiful forested hill and it’s right by a lovely stream where we swam. Highly recommended for nature-lovers. And I didn’t even mention the character of the century-old building, the onsen which we had to ourselves, and the amazingly friendly owner Steve. Thank you!
