I like the location, they also make it possible to do an early check in. The staff help us very much. The breakfast was good and all of the facilities was excellent.

Set 800 metres from St Bavo's Cathedral, Hotel The Boatel is located in Ghent. Free WiFi access is available in this boat. Super clean. Really good location, walkable everywhere. Staff excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Never been in a place so clean. Well worth staying here.

Tom and Jurgen were exceptionally good hosts. The property is phenomenal, well-equipped, modern yet rustic, well-lit and ventilated, clean, worth every penny, and located in a prime neighbourhood. The city center was accessible from this property. The hosts explained every detail of how to use the amenities in the apartment. The highlight was the homemade spreads in the fridge — must try the chocolate spread. We would definitely stay in this property when we make another trip to Ghent. A highly recommended property. Oh, don't forget to meet Raoul, the cat. We have never seen a cat who is so eager to get his scritches.
