This motel is as close to the freeway as you can get, the noise is constant & at no time did we feel relaxed. We were on a road trip so just needed a place to get some sleep & relax, this motel unfortunately felt grubby, not relaxing. Failure on my part for booking the place in haste & not taking the time to research its location, a short walk form the place you can find the pedestrianised part of Venture where there is a nice selection of shops bars and restaurants and other motels. The bathroom had parts missing, the ceiling extractor trim, the towel holder was falling apart, the rooms windows were the vertical sash type with thumb locks so it felt insecure & anyone from the street can walk up onto the walkway with access to the front of the rooms and you wont hear them because the freeway is so loud.

I normally do not write reviews however this hotel is disgusting. The staff upon check in were rude and less than hospitable. The room smelled heavily of mold and dog urine. The bathroom sink and tub had rust rings around the basin. The bathroom walls were filthy with black dirt marks from previous guests including the front door to the room. Upon addressing the concerns with the front desk staff, they did not seem to care and advised me to contact the third party booking website for any assistance. There are plenty of affordable hotels in the area that offer better accommodations than this hotel, please stay away.

Ventura is one of the first beach towns you can stay in as you drive north from Los Angeles. Nice pier and harbor area and it competes with Oxnard just to the North as an easy weekend get away from Los Angeles.

Clean and commfortable place to stay if all you need is a basic lodging with some kitchen facilities. Not in a very good location, and the kitchen was very poorly stocked, but it served our purpose as an relatively inexpensive place to stay while visiting Channel Islands National Park.

    I like Ventura.

I like Ventura. We usually stop in Oxnard for food but this was our fist time staying the night in Ventura. It is more affordable than Ojai and Santa Barbara. I would visit with my family again. The Beach House restaurant on the pier was great too.

Although the city is bisected by a busy freeway and a rail line, it's a great place to shop, walk along the beach, and as a more reasonably priced place to stay for visits to Santa Barbara and Ojai.

We went for the International Heirloom Exposition.

We went for the International Heirloom Exposition. It was fantastic!!! If you like to garden, I highly recommend it. Then we got to experience a little bit of Ventura. Their downtown/midtown gets a little crazy for us, but we found a ton of other eating options. I highly recommend Fresh Grill Ventura @ Main St & S. Santa Rosa St. Their breakfast bowl is the best!!! Fresh veggies and so tasty.

We have been faithful customers of Booking.com, for many years. This year we had at least 10 reservations with them in november for our yearly californian thanksgiving trip. Unfortunately we were bounced off for one reservation by the hotel, in Yucca Valley, without legitimate reason, and left one night out in the cold. Booking.com has totally disregarded our complaint and proclaimed their irresponsibility. Consequently we shall no longer share our experiences at other facilities, as we gladly did in the past.

I had been in meetings since 7am, then driving from the North for 3 hours. I was supposed to meet my Grandmother at the hotel that night. Unfortunately, her flight was canceled until the next day. Scott was super nice, making sure that the room she wanted was ready and where she requested. I was so tired, and a complete basket case checking in to the hotel, but, Scott was kind and patient with all my questions. This hotel is true find in a sea of hotels in Ventura. Thanks again Scott for all of your help!

This is a well maintained older motel at the junction of the 101 Freeway and Victoria Road. It's a place for travelers to stay or work crews to base. The manager let me run extension cords to charge our Prius Prime - something not do-able at pricier places with no accessibke outdoor outlets. No pool, no workout room. We did not check for breakfast here. Considering Ventura's many hotel options, Victoria is a decently priced, comfortable place for travelers or people needing a base for adventures.adventures

I have been travelling for 3 weeks on a motorcycle so I have stayed at around 15 hotels so far. This one was by far the worst, the room has obviously had homeless and druggies staying in it, there was burn marks on the filthy sink, no coffee machine provided, the room was desperately in need of repair, it was dirty. Outside during the night I could hear voices and activity going on. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I have had far better rooms for a third of the price of this place.

THE ROOM HAD A KITCHENETTE WHICH CAME IN HANDY AFTER I BOUGHT A FROZEN FISH ENTREE AND REALIZED IT WASN'T MICROWAVEABLE, BUT THERE WAS A COMBO RANGE/OVEN AND THE FISH WAS GREAT. ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE. ONE REASON I STAYED IN THIS HOTEL WAS BECAUSE I WAS BORN IN VENTURA AND RODE MY BIKE PAST THIS ICONIC BUILDING ON MY WAY TO SCHOOL FOR YEARS. IT HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE BEFORE I WAS BORN AND IT IS GOOD TO SEE HOW WELL IT IS BEING PRESERVED.

Love the newly renovated room, very clean, pet friendly hotel. Breakfast was good as well. We stayed in a harbor view room and the view was stunning! The hotel is in a nice location for a stroll to Ventura Harbor Village. Close to restaurants, shops and spectacular sunset.
