They tried to make it works. The apartment is not very nice but they thought at all the details. You have lot of plugs to recharge the devices, hairdryer, and ropes to hang clothes

The welcome was warm even though I was a last minute booking at night. My room was generous, clean and overlooked the garden to the pool. The breakfast was wonderful, so many choices and all freshly prepared. Peaceful, relaxing and a host that couldn't do more for my stay.

We loved everything about our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable - both my sister and I had the best night sleep we've had in ages. The room was clean and quiet, with blackout curtains for sleeping and good wifi ... it had everything we could need or want. The robes and complimentary port were very nice touches. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying for both of us (one of us is a vegetarian, the other is not). The property itself is gorgeous. It happened to be a little too cold out to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and recommended some beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants for us to check out. Next time I'm back in this area I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to all my friends.
The Sudoeste Guest House has 4 rooms with private bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV, patio and shared kitchen. It also has a T0 apartment with a terrace and overlooking the River Seixe and Montes de Odeceixe.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available.
The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's
It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
This is a special place! We stayed here with our 18 month old for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Intimate and warm atmosphere, friendly staff, unique concept and decor, delicious breakfast with beautiful views. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness towards our child with cot, high chair in a room and at breakfast, baby towel etc.
The town of Odeceixe is very charming, Praia de Odeceixe was an 8 minute drive and a perfect family beach as one side of it is a river with calm waters.
Highly recommended!
We liked everything about this house. The location is awesome, you can get almost everywhere within 2-5 minutes. Very neat and comfortable for two people. The house is fully equipped, we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful terrace with a nice view. The house is the same as in the photos. Andreia is very helpful and understanding. There is a construction site next to this house, but it didn’t affect us much.
We highly recommend to book this accommodation for your stay in Odeceixe.
Very interesting expierence. The host is very special man, having answers to different questions, gaving good recommendations about travelling Rota Vincentina. Very tasty breakfast in the yard surrounded by pets. From the house a 15 minutes trail takes you to the ocean. It's a good place to stay when splitting the Fisherman's road section from Odeceixe (with half a day staying at Odeceixe beach) and Aljezur in two days.

Best hotel in Portugal! We had the garden villa and another bed room. The furniture, the pool, everything was so great and made with love. We had the pool almost always for our own. It was super peaceful. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was fantastic! They had pancakes, eggs in every variation u like, cakes, fruits,...The laundry service was super good. We will come back! =) Thank u for everything!
The agro-tourism hotel was an excellent choice for a quiet and comfortable stay on the Costa Vicentina. Our host Tiago was very friendly and walked us through all aspects of the property upon arrival. Location was great as we made our way up the coast from Sagres to Lisbon. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Would liked to have stayed longer, but will return when we revisit the area in the future.
Very clean, beautifully furnished, newly refurbished & comfortable room with a fantastic breakfast. We had a very warm welcome from the owner Fernando. The hotel is in the centre of the town, very easy to park a few minutes walk away. There are some lovely restaurants all within walking distance & the stunning beach at Odeceixe is a 10 minute drive.
Great apartment with full kitchen, a patio, washer, outdoor clothesline and living room. Perfect place for our 2 night stay while walking Rota Vicentina. Since we were changing accommodations that day, we messaged the property and they went out of their way to let us in early to drop off our bags and prepared our room as quickly as possible.
Super cosy & well located in a cute village.
Our room was like a mini apartment, wood floor & well decorated, we felt like home.
You can have breakfast in the deli downstairs that belongs to the guesthouse (very good & made with love ;)))
The owners are very welcoming and gave us good tips for restaurants & bars & activities around
So central in Odeceixe, short walk to restaurants. Comfortable beds, rooms, modest kitchen with lovely balcony for view of surroundings. Host SO wonderful, attentive, also offering tisane with breakfast that they harvested locally. Really enjoyed.
Beautiful stop over on our trip from Lagos to Lisbon offering an adventurous walk to the beach through pine forest and sand dunes. A wake up call of the roosters and angry goose and eating fruit straight off the tree and a delicious breakfast.
Proximity to the Odeceixe beach, approximately 30 min walk for us (some parts following the main road, take care!). The breakfast was very appetising, with wonderful bread choices and eggs as desired, a good start to the day :).
The host is very friendly and the room is nice!
Perfect location to walk the Rota Vicentina (Fishermen's way) as the hotel is located down town (you don't need to walk upper on the hill)
Very well equipped apartment, very comfortable. Easy access to everything in Odeceixe (not that anything is very far), nice host who helped us out despite their own personal emergency.
Nice room with terrace just by the pool. Very beautiful garden. The dinner at restaurant in the hotel was amazing (high end prices). Very small town, not much to do there.
