It's a basic no frills type hotel but that said, the hotel itself is kept very clean as are the rooms and bathrooms.
Shower is a good size too. I'm 183cm and it was just fine.
Staff seemed friendly enough and the complimentary breakfast was fine. Again nothing overly special.

DESTASU' is a new building in the medieval town of Castel del Monte. It is built in harmony with the town so you don't even realise it is new from the outside. The facilities are very modern and wonderfully comfortable. It is a small boutique hotel and wellness centre. Breakfast was delicious. Marco was a fabulous host

I had a great time staying at Azienda Agricola Mappavel's. Sara and her husband looked after me very well, giving me a warm welcome on a cold February night.
The room was clean, warm and comfortable.
The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, including delicious cake home baked by Sara.
I enjoyed a lovely conversation with Sara, who speaks some English in the morning and she was helpful with recommendations.
Sara and her husband's warm welcome continued when I went on to stay at a house in the village, as they run a very popular cafe/bar, and also sell their own delicious beer.
They were always welcoming to me, very important for a woman travelling alone.
I am very fussy with how my coffee is served and they always served that perfectly!
The village where the B&B is at the heart of - Castel del Monte - is a very friendly and beautiful village in a stunning area - I will definitely return!

There is a very interesting story about this Albergo Diffuso.
The village is amazing and the room is very nicely rennovated and very confortable.
The staffs were very kind and helpful in carrying baggages, booking restaurants and telling us the story.
Breakfast and lounge were also very nice abd confortable, as well as the restaurant.

The location of the hotel is very special, though it would be good to have views/ more information about outside areas prior to booking, as this would have effected our choice of room. The village is pretty and interesting and we enjoyed being able to go hiking in the park without needing to use the car. The room was very well equipped, also with a good kitchen area, making it easy to cater for ourselves when we chose, though restaurants locally are limited.

A superb little town in the heart of Aquila province with some serious character. It's no wonder they picked this town to shoot The American with George Clooney.
Multiple cafes, restaurants and artisanal shops line the main street. Most of the food and wine you'll consume here is locally sourced and you'll instantly tell that by the fresh taste alone.
This town also makes for an excellent jump point to visit the great Aquila region which is steeped in history dating back to 600 AD!
