Baja Sardinia is all about the beach during the day and the bars/restaurants at night. The beach is soft sand with easy access into crystal clear waters. It can get choppy when it’s windy, but on a calm warm day the water is delightful. The depth increases very gradually so is safe for children and less adept swimmers alike.
The town has several great restaurants and bars, easily enough to eat somewhere different every night for a week. Personal favourites include Foodie (relaxed atmosphere with really great food at sensible prices), Pizzeria Sole Mare (casual pizzeria with great staff), Ristorante Corbezzolo (great menu, very friendly staff, upstairs so not accessible to disabled) and Ristorante Il Guscio (great atmosphere when it busy - sit outside by the olive tree and under the lights - great pasta). There are many more to choose from with varying demands on the wallet. There are several wine and cocktail bars, all lively and usually with music - sometimes live. If you are into wine, especially Sardinian, I recommend Il Vigneto di Bacco. A lovely little wine bar with outdoor seating right on the front.
There are other activities including boat trips and diving all available to be booked in the town.
Overall a great place to stay if you want to chill on the beach (or by a pool if your accommodation has one), eat well, drink well and just relax. Oh, and there are live music sessions held on the ‘stage’ in the middle of the main promenade. These usually start quite late so can be enjoyed with and after dinner drink at one of the bars.

Beautiful resort.
Beautiful resort. Variety of restaurants excellent (but a lot of seafood on the menu). Not the easiest location if you want to explore the island. The buses are quite scarce. You really need a car to see Sardinia, the archaeological sites etc. Perhaps a few more excursions leaving from Baja Sardinia would be good. And the transfer to hotel from Olbia airport was eye-wateringly expensive!

This place has some excellent people on their staff- Marzia-Thomas at the reception were always very helpful, friendly, professional and kind. The chefs are amazing the food was delicious. The waiters, although understaffed for the amount of people that unexpectedly must have arrived due to COVID19, were all friendly, professional and attentive.

Stunning coastline with lots of rocky coves and sandy beaches, often quite secluded. The water was very clear and fabulous colours. Very peaceful at the end of the season (end Sept). Not easy to go far beyond the hotel without a car and the roads can be a bit challenging if you are not a confident driver as lots of tight bends in places. Europcar have offices there, so can hire a car on a daily basis.
In our hotel 3 out of 4 of our plug adapters did not fit the sockets, so quite awkward trying to keep tablet/laptop/phones all charged on one socket.
Some lovely restaurants, particularly fish, available, but very limited choices for vegetarians and gluten free or vegan not often catered for. One supermarket and a small deli within walking distance of the hotel and a small selection of clothes shops. Also various boat trips and hire on offer from kiosks along the seafront, including to La Maddalena and Corsica - not available at the hotel. A very helpful and charming gentleman, speaking several languages, is at the Tourist office, within walking distance of the coast - a mine of information! There is also a dining centre close by.

Lovely bay, fabulous beach and scenery.
Lovely bay, fabulous beach and scenery. Mainly pasta/pizza restaurants. Food pricey compared to UK- need to check restaurant prices beforehand. 2 pastas & 2 small beers about 45€. Some restaurants very expensive. Supermarket quite a long walk uphill and quite expensive.

Sardinia was lovely, views unspoilt, golfs fab. beaches just like in brochures -We had warmer than average weather. Pevero golf club is worthy of a visit. All in all a good place for beaches wine and food
Food and wine good
shop around and visit supermarkets do a good variety of cooked and uncooked food if you want a cheaper holiday
Watch out for the tips as already added on to Bill
The property was in a great location, walking distance from lovely beaches and nightlife like Phi Beach, Ritual, and Porto Sole. I didn’t have a car and it worked well for me. It was also extremely charming, there are many flowers and garden around and the rooms are spacious with well maintained wooden furniture. I even had a balcony overlooking the pretty pool area. The staff was kind and you have the option to take your meals at the hotel.
A brilliantly located hotel with stunning sea views and just a short walk from the centre of Baja Sardinia. The hotel has plenty of character and a great selection of pools and small beach. Staff are all super helpful and friendly. We took the bed and breakfast option - with plenty of variety of hot and cold options for breakfast, it pleased every day and there are many restaurants nearby to choose from for an evening meal.
It was in a quiet location, 5 mins from Baja Sardinia and 12 mins from Porto Cervo. You can get around by bus, but having a car meant we could explore more of the Island. The property is a resort designed with lots of activities planned. Kayaks were included which was great!
Room was new and clean.
The food was expensive. We found it better to drive and get takeaway.
When you arrive to the hotel it feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, But actually it is not! Just check google maps :) Baja Sardinia area is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel, full of restaurants and with a nice beach. We really liked the area.
Also there is a supermarkets just in front of the hotel.
Our room had a nice sea view.
Breakfast was good.
The place is great if you plan a longer stay and need access to full amenities. The kitchen is well-equipped, clean and the apartment offers you all the basics you might need (towels, toiletries, etc). The location is also convenient (Porto Quatu, Baja Sardinia - 10/15 mins drive, la maddalena - 1h).
The location is fabulous. It's located on a beautiful cove with perfect swimming. It's so easy to stroll into town where the restaurants and shops are located. We loved the location, and the hotel itself and the grounds are maintained nicely.
We had an amazing stay, beautiful apartment, very clean. Make sure you have a car over there. Great place to stay and to explore Costa Smeralda. 1 minute drive to the supermarket and very close to Baja Sardinia city centre (10min by walk).
The house is in a great location and quite. By walking you can reach either beach and the strip with all its restaurants within minutes.
The north of Sardinia, Baja Sardinia is anyway worth a visit with all its beautiful beaches!
Good location halfway between Connigione and Porto Cervo. 15 min drive to the best beaches in the emerald coast. Nice pool to chill and refresh after the beach. Good facilities and nice staff. The apartment was comfortable.
Wow, just wow... i may say one of the best services In a hotel we have ever had. The service from everyone, you think one is super polite, and next one is even politer.
