We were on our honeymoon and it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves, which we were not expecting in July. It was a cool property and we liked how secluded it felt.

Baja Sardinia is all about the beach during the day and the bars/restaurants at night. The beach is soft sand with easy access into crystal clear waters. It can get choppy when it’s windy, but on a calm warm day the water is delightful. The depth increases very gradually so is safe for children and less adept swimmers alike.
The town has several great restaurants and bars, easily enough to eat somewhere different every night for a week. Personal favourites include Foodie (relaxed atmosphere with really great food at sensible prices), Pizzeria Sole Mare (casual pizzeria with great staff), Ristorante Corbezzolo (great menu, very friendly staff, upstairs so not accessible to disabled) and Ristorante Il Guscio (great atmosphere when it busy - sit outside by the olive tree and under the lights - great pasta). There are many more to choose from with varying demands on the wallet. There are several wine and cocktail bars, all lively and usually with music - sometimes live. If you are into wine, especially Sardinian, I recommend Il Vigneto di Bacco. A lovely little wine bar with outdoor seating right on the front.
There are other activities including boat trips and diving all available to be booked in the town.
Overall a great place to stay if you want to chill on the beach (or by a pool if your accommodation has one), eat well, drink well and just relax. Oh, and there are live music sessions held on the ‘stage’ in the middle of the main promenade. These usually start quite late so can be enjoyed with and after dinner drink at one of the bars.

Beautiful resort.
Beautiful resort. Variety of restaurants excellent (but a lot of seafood on the menu). Not the easiest location if you want to explore the island. The buses are quite scarce. You really need a car to see Sardinia, the archaeological sites etc. Perhaps a few more excursions leaving from Baja Sardinia would be good. And the transfer to hotel from Olbia airport was eye-wateringly expensive!

This place has some excellent people on their staff- Marzia-Thomas at the reception were always very helpful, friendly, professional and kind. The chefs are amazing the food was delicious. The waiters, although understaffed for the amount of people that unexpectedly must have arrived due to COVID19, were all friendly, professional and attentive.

Stunning coastline with lots of rocky coves and sandy beaches, often quite secluded. The water was very clear and fabulous colours. Very peaceful at the end of the season (end Sept). Not easy to go far beyond the hotel without a car and the roads can be a bit challenging if you are not a confident driver as lots of tight bends in places. Europcar have offices there, so can hire a car on a daily basis.
In our hotel 3 out of 4 of our plug adapters did not fit the sockets, so quite awkward trying to keep tablet/laptop/phones all charged on one socket.
Some lovely restaurants, particularly fish, available, but very limited choices for vegetarians and gluten free or vegan not often catered for. One supermarket and a small deli within walking distance of the hotel and a small selection of clothes shops. Also various boat trips and hire on offer from kiosks along the seafront, including to La Maddalena and Corsica - not available at the hotel. A very helpful and charming gentleman, speaking several languages, is at the Tourist office, within walking distance of the coast - a mine of information! There is also a dining centre close by.

Lovely bay, fabulous beach and scenery.
Lovely bay, fabulous beach and scenery. Mainly pasta/pizza restaurants. Food pricey compared to UK- need to check restaurant prices beforehand. 2 pastas & 2 small beers about 45€. Some restaurants very expensive. Supermarket quite a long walk uphill and quite expensive.

Amazing view on Baja Sardinia, which you can enjoy while relaxing from the wide terrace right next to the pool.
Food is simply delicious, with a variety of option to try! All courses are very well presented, giving you a top quality option for breakfast, lunch and dinner right next to your room.
Rooms are new, clean, quiet and very comfortable - the perfect stay for both couples and families looking for a relaxing alternative surrounded by spectacular views and nice food!
the staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to be very helpful. The hotel deserves 6 stars if that were possible. The grounds are beautiful and you are pampered throughout your stay. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, the pool is very very nice and the rooms are terrific. You do need a car to go anywhere because Costa Smeralda is a large area and getting to places on the island would not be possible without a car..
The staff were accommodating and friendly. I can't say enough about the staff. They went out of their way to help us. Thank you to Fabrizio for all his help and kindness. We will never forget you. The hotel was well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was superb. I love that everyone had a smile on their face when they greeted us. We will stay here again when we come back. We love Sardinia.
The location is great. We had a room on the top floor with a view over the bay. Breakfast was super, very nice staff, very helpful. The hotel consists out of different buildings whihc makes it cozy. We typically like a pool, but the pool isn't really in sight of the hotel. We haven't used it. Also what I liked were the towels for the beach, great service!
The apartment was great. it is very good for groups, as it has a double bed, 3 individual beds and 2 sofa-beds. It has a kitchen, 2 bathrooms with 2 showers and a terrace with a dining table and amazing views (for the sunset!). The swimming pool is good, and the location is 5 min from the center of Baja Sardinia. Great value!
The place is great if you plan a longer stay and need access to full amenities. The kitchen is well-equipped, clean and the apartment offers you all the basics you might need (towels, toiletries, etc). The location is also convenient (Porto Quatu, Baja Sardinia - 10/15 mins drive, la maddalena - 1h).
The location is fabulous. It's located on a beautiful cove with perfect swimming. It's so easy to stroll into town where the restaurants and shops are located. We loved the location, and the hotel itself and the grounds are maintained nicely.
A well located hotel for exploring the Baia Sardinia area, with beautiful, small beaches within easy walking distance, as was the main town/restaurants. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast a really good quality.
The balcony is amazing to stay outside for breakfast or enjoy the sunset. 2 mins walking from a really nice beach and 10 mins to the center of Baja Sardinia where you can find lots of place to eat or have a drink.
we had a very good stay at hotel Porto piccolo. such a lovely place. beautiful area with marvellous beaches near by. service was very very nice and made our stay very comfortable. rooms were clean.
Great spot at the end of the beach. Friendly and very helpful staff. Beautiful home made breakfast. Aircon, pool, comfortable beds. Great hotel! Would def come again :-)
Beautiful hotel. Staff very helpful and very good service. Great breakfast with many choices. Gorgeous pool and the outside grounds were very well kept.
